The Prep Baseball Arizona High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Arizona High School positional player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Arizona Scouting Director, Shea Sbranti.

To begin each week, Prep Baseball Arizona will announce it's Player of the Week, alongside our Power 25 Rankings Update, from the previous Monday-Sunday games.

'24 LHP/1B Johnny Casale (Brophy Prep) takes home this week's Player of the Week honors following six scoreless innings against Perry on Thursday as he racked up ten strikeouts without allowing a run on two hits and one walk in the 6-0 win.

2024 LHP/1B Johnny Casale (Brophy Prep) got the start on Thursday in their second game against Perry and the Loyola Marymount commit was dominant over six innings as he didn't surrender a run in the 6-0 win to extend Brophy's record 16-4 (now 17-4). Casale allowed just two hits and one walk while racking up ten punchouts. The left-hander provides production and value for the Broncos on both sides of the ball and will be an important piece to this team down the stretch as they're rolling in 6A Premier action.
