Hamilton made an early statement as Colorado transfer Boston Kellner launched a solo home run over the left-field wall in the first inning, setting the tone for his standout performance. Corona Del Sol's top performers included the uncommitted middle infielder Jaiden Lo Re, who went 3-3 on the night, showcasing his offensive prowess with a deep double off the left-field wall. Jaiden Lo Re also played lockdown defense at shortstop, making numerous crucial plays throughout the game, contributing to the Aztecs' success.

Left-handed hitting catcher Cooper Clouser added significantly with three well-placed singles, displaying his ability to use the entire field. Clouser was a standout in this past springs Pre Season All-State games proving to be the top uncommitted bat in the class and arguably the state.

A pivotal moment in the game came from sophomore Parker Williams, who came in as a pinch hitter and delivered a clutch triple into the left-center field gap, bringing in two runs and extending the Aztecs' lead to 3.
