In a thrilling matchup between #2 Hamilton and #6 Corona Del Sol, the Aztecs emerged victorious with a final score of 8-5 in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Hamilton made an early statement as Colorado transfer Boston Kellner launched a solo home run over the left-field wall in the first inning, setting the tone for his standout performance. Kellner wasn't done, adding a second home run later in the game.

Corona Del Sol's top performers included the uncommitted middle infielder Jaiden Lo Re, who went 3-3 on the night, showcasing his offensive prowess with a deep double off the left-field wall. Jaiden Lo Re also played lockdown defense at shortstop, making numerous crucial plays throughout the game, contributing to the Aztecs' success.

Left-handed hitting catcher Cooper Clouser added significantly with three well-placed singles, displaying his ability to use the entire field. Clouser was a standout in this past springs Pre Season All-State games proving to be the top uncommitted bat in the class and arguably the state. 

A pivotal moment in the game came from sophomore Parker Williams, who came in as a pinch hitter and delivered a clutch triple into the left-center field gap, bringing in two runs and extending the Aztecs' lead to 3. 

This hard-fought battle between two elite teams in the valley demonstrated the competitiveness for the top spot in the Arizona high school baseball landscape, it would be likely to see these two top programs see each other again down the road.
