Kentucky Hitter of The Week

This weekly award will be announced each Tuesday for the previous week’s games.

Week five of the Kentucky high school saw some bad weather in the middle of the week that limited the number of games, but the weather turned nice towards the end of the week as Trinity HS headed north to face some of the top competition in the midwest at the Prep Baseball Ohio Invitational Tournament in Cincinnati.

In three games, the offense of 2024 Tennessee recruit Dane Morrow helped lead the Rocks to a 2-1 record for the event. Morrow went 5-for-9 with a triple, 2 walks, 2 RBI, and scored 2 runs as Trinity posted wins against Massillon Jackson (#3 in Ohio) and St. Xavier (#9 in Kentucky). In Trinity’s other game, they dropped an 8-6 decision to Badin (#18 in Ohio).

For his outstanding performance on the field, Dane Morrow has been named the Prep Baseball Kentucky Hitter of The Week for April 8-14..
