Kentucky Pitcher of The Week

This weekly award will be announced each Tuesday for the previous week’s games.

Week four of the Kentucky high school season saw a pitcher from DuPont Manual HS turn in a dominant outing in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Pitching against North Stanly, a team on the verge of the Prep Baseball North Carolina Power 25, uncommitted 2024 RHP Owen Walker turned in a fantastic six-innings of work in a no-decision for the Crimsons. Walker allowed just one hit and no earned runs while racking up 14 strikeouts before exiting the game.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Owen Walker has been named the Prep Baseball Kentucky Pitcher of The Week for April 1-7.
