+ SS/RHP Charlie Cassingham (Grissom, 2025) continues to put quality at-bat after quality at-bat together for the Tigers and has been doing so since his freshman season. The athletic junior, previous 7.09-runner, can be plugged in anywhere on the field and defend at a high-level. This season, he will mainly be playing shortstop when he is not on the mound. No doubt, Cassingham will throw some big innings for the Tigers as a front end guy featuring a fastball that sits in the mid-80s with a well-shaped breaking ball that shows late action. One of the best uncommitted left-handed bats still available in the 2025 class in Alabama, Cassingham shows a patient approach at the plate and consistently works deep into counts. Showing a mostly middle-of-the-field approach, he can drive balls to the back-side and has enough bat speed to get to pitches on the inner-half, as well. The barrel has a slightly uphill path as he keeps the barrel through the hitting zone for an extended time. On the night, Cassingham was 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs scored, and a stolen base.
