+ OF Keaton Johns (Ardmore, 2025) is an uncommitted junior outfielder that had a chance to show off his athleticism on Monday. Johns can truly cover gap to gap in centerfield and make a couple of not-so routine plays look routine as his speed allowed him to track balls well off of the bat. The speed was on full display on offense as he tripled to the pull side gap on a ball that might not necessarily be a double but he easily stretched it out, while driving in a run as well. Showing looseness in the hands and leg kick approach on the front side, Johns shows some natural lift in the swing plane which creates some carry to the gap. He also showed an aggressive approach at the plate in early counts while showing the ability to shorten up the approach with two strikes and extend at-bats.
