The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach Jason is starting to really like his squad heading into 2024 as the depth is rounding out quite well for the Chargers. This team will be led by senior Brady Snow who is headed to Wofford after the spring season. Snow can take things over both offensively and on the mound, as example by his strong season last year. Behind Snow, the Chatfield program has some developing prospects who should be able to produce along with their slew of seniors. The varsity squad for Chatfield should be full of experience, making them a big threat in the Jeffco league for 2024.
