Caleb Michael Dameron
Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2024 SEASON OUTLOOK:

The Loveland Red Wolves come from the always tough Front Range league where they are hoping to be able to crack the top 32 teams in 5A again for playoff contention. Senior Jackson Niederwerder has been seen up to 92 mph lately and will surely be a tough arm to beat for any team this spring. Jackson also comes with plenty of upside in his bat, and could be a complete carrier for this squad. Senior Grant Wing could also be pivotal on the mound for Loveland this year. Loveland did lose a plethora of seniors after last spring, but they still have some high-level pieces that could help them be successful in 2024.
