Colorado 2026 Class Rankings: Fall Update

Caleb Dameron
PBR Colorado Staff

The fall 2023 rankings update consists of 75 players from the Colorado 2026 class. This group of prospects includes plenty of surging talent, a group of high-end arms at the top, and a plethora of quality left-handed bats. When creating our rankings, we consider various factors, such as skills, physical abilities, potential, projection, and on-field performance as well.

As the 2023 season comes to an end, we are excited to see how these players develop and are constantly looking for new talent within our state. We understand that each player progresses at their own pace, and we will update the rankings throughout the year. It's important to remember that each player has their journey, and the ultimate goal should always be to strive for continuous improvement.

Tyce Smith OF / SS / Cherry Creek, CO / 2026

Smith is a tall and strong athlete that comes with a top exit-velocity of over 96 mph with an outfield velocity of 85 mph. The loose and whippy swing that Smith creates from the left-side is developing with a high ceiling.

Brayden Millikan 1B / LHP / Springs Studio for Academic Excellence, CO / 2026

Millikan impresses thanks to a physical left-handed swing that is already producing exit-velocities over 97 mph. The sophomore is a confident hitter that posted a .320 average this spring at the varsity level. Millikan has a chance to develop exceptional power from the left-side in the near future, with a well-rounded approach.

Cory Dean Carver SS / OF / Montezuma Cortez , CO / 2026

Carver is the 2nd ranked shortstop in the 2026 Colorado class and showcased quite well during the 2023 State Games. The sophomore ran a 6.94 60 yard dash, posted a 93.7 mph max exit-velocity, and threw into the mid 80s at both shortstop and in the outfield. Carver was also a standout in the games as he hit himself on base multiple times and showed speed with quality instincts on the base-paths.

Luc Gaca Thiele 3B / RHP / Fossil Ridge , CO / 2026

Gaca Thiele has made a jump in summer and fall 2023 as the left-handed swing continues to get stronger. The short and compact swing that Gaca Thiele is producing right now has generated exit-velocities into the mid 90's with plate coverage. Gaca Thiele is another left-handed bat to keep on watch as he is actively developing.

Preston Miller SS / RHP / Rock Canyon, CO / 2026

Miller showcased some high-end tools during the 2023 Rockies Scout Team scout day thanks to a 6.63 60 yard dash time, a 97.1 mph top exit-velocity, and ramping the fastball up to 84.5 mph on the mound. The strong and athletic frame on Miller is actively developing right now and he should only continue to gain experience with some varsity playing time in spring 2024. The ceiling on Miller is quite high heading into the next year.

Bricen Moore 1B / LHP / Douglas County, CO / 2026

Moore is a quality lefty who comes with upside on the mound, and with the bat. The top exit-velocity on Moore is at 95 mph at the moment with a fastball at 82 mph to go along with his slider and changeup. We can also tell you that as a freshman this spring, Moore hit .306 (36 at-bats) with a .917 OPS and a home run in one of the toughest 5A leagues in Colorado.

Kieran Delaney SS / RHP / Colorado Academy, CO / 2026

Delaney is yet another fine two-way player who moves up in this edition of the rankings. This fall, Delaney threw 85 mph off of the mound and registered over a 90 mph top exit-velocity while hitting. Delaney also gained plenty of experience on varsity as a freshman this spring when he hit .407 across 86 at-bats at the Colorado 3A level. The uncommitted sophomore is one to keep a close eye on as he continues to develop.

Silas Meuli OF / 1B / Legend, CO / 2026

Meuli cracks the rankings this time around after showcasing some real athleticism this fall. The top 60 yard dash time on Meuli is now at a 6.89 with a 90 mph top exit-velocity. Meuli also hits from the left-side and creates quality leverage with the lower half while his swing is actively developing still.

Bryce Love OF / RHP / Peyton, CO / 2026

Love took things over in the 2026 class during the Colorado Fall ID as he projects quite well as both a hitter and a pitcher. The fastball on Love was up to 84 mph while he also showcased a change-up, curveball, and slider. With the bat, Love maxed out at over a 92 mph exit-velocity and then showcased some feel in the outfield. Love is worth a close follow as a young prospect in the state.

Colton Brush C / 3B / Legend, CO / 2026

Brush comes with a higher level approach in the box while he controls the game well behind the plate. The smooth right-handed swing from Brush allows him to use all fields with the ability to work the count. The sophomore made plenty of noise this summer and fall on his way into the Colorado 2026 class rankings.

Blake Anderson C / Eaglecrest, CO / 2026

Anderson is another exceptional young catcher that makes the rankings as he posted a 1.88 top pop time, a 79 mph throw from catcher, and a 93 mph top exit-velocity this fall. The sophomore's wiry and athletic frame is actively developing and should only continue to gain momentum heading into the next year.
