Staff

The Georgia Scout Blog will be a weekly blog with reports and videos from the players and teams that we go out to cover each week. The blog will remain for the length of the week with notes being added the day following from each game. At the end of the week we will update the POWER 25 and CLASSIFICATION RANKINGS, then at the beginning of the following week we will announce 2 Player of the Week awards, along with our Diamond Notes, which is a culminaton of all players that were not selected for player of the week. Note: Player of the Week submissions are sent in by high school coaches.

Week of February 26

Adam McKelvey, LHP, 2024, Roswell
Georgia Tech Commit. McKelvey had a strong outing against a top 10 opponent in 6A in Blessed Trinity going 5 strong innings with 10 strikeouts. He showed good tempo on the mound and worked efficiently getting ahead in early counts. McKelvey worked a mid 80’s FB up to 87 with heavy action. McKelvey showed good off-speed pitches in the SL and CH. He has good feel for all three pitches with true strikeout stuff from the left side.

Kade Kisz, INF, 2025, Blessed Trinity
Georgia Tech Commit. Athletic frame. Kisz put together some competitive AB’s against a strong arm from Roswell. Kisz laced an opposite field RBI double. He showed strong ability to match plane and shows power to the opposite field. Kisz shows defensive skills at 3B with good footwork and arm strength.
