Eunice, LA - The PBR Louisiana Senior Games were held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at LSU-Eunice, home of the 7-Time NJCAA DII National Champions.  The event consisted of uncommitted prospects from Louisiana's 2024 class.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more.  Pitchers were able to throw live against hitters and were able to receive their numbers and metrics off of Trackman, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.  There were several college recruiters on hand for the event and there have already been several prospects who've received offers since Saturday.

Sione Albert, Dunham (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: 1B/C
Body: 5-11, 220-pounds. Physical.
Hit: RHH. Upright and balanced stance, uses a "hover" load and stride. Drives back knee through front knee and gains some ground forward, direct path to contact with uphill extension, showed power to the pull-side gap with EV's up to 100 mph. 67.3 mph bat speed with 6 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 100 max exit velocity, averaged 90.8 mph. 331' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-72 mph. INF-71 mph. Compact arm swing, 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.19-2.60 pop times. C: Starts a little higher in his crouch, average receiver, blocks well, clean transfers on throw downs. 1B: Received the ball clean on double plays, played through backhand well with one hand throwing across to 3B.

Thomas Bonaventure, Parkview Baptist (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-11, 175-pounds. Durable with sturdy lower-half.
Hit: RHH. Starts upright in a balanced stance, gets front foot down early during a simple load and stride. Hands work first, direct and downhill path to contact, stays flat through extension. Worked mostly up the middle and to the pull-side gap on a line. 58.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 81.8 mph. 253' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-74 mph. INF-80 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.03-2.16 pop times. INF: Average hands and actions, moved ok laterally, did show ability to play with one hand. C: Average receiver, good blocker, solid catch and throw with athletic footwork.

Grayson Boudreaux, Ponchatoula (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/1B
Body: 5-7, 155-pounds. Athletic
Hit: LHH. Starts in a wider base and gets his front foot down early during a simple load and stride. Level path to contact with level extension and a two-handed finish, stays balanced from start to finish, works mostly on a line and hard on the ground up the middle. 54.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 71.7 mph. 248' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-71 mph. Short arm action, 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.12-2.19 pop times. Average receiver and blocker, clean transfers on throw downs with athletic footwork.
ATH: 7.50 runner in the 60. 1.79 and 4.16 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Drake Detillier, South Terrebonne (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 5-11, 200-pounds. Physical with strong lower-half.
Hit: RHH. Balanced and athletic set-up, simple load and stride Short and direct path to the ball with slightly uphill extension and a two-handed finish, rotates lower-half well and stays behind the ball, can drive the ball up the middle and from gap to gap. 62.8 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 81.8 mph. 317' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-79 mph. Short and quick, 3/4 release.

Brody Harlow, Sulphur (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/1B
Body: 6-2, 175-pounds. Tall and athletic.
Hit: RHH. Starts in an upright and balanced stance before using a controlled leg kick load and stride. Works down to contact with uphill extension and a two-handed finish. Gap to gap approach. Took two good AB's in game and collected a single. 63.4 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 83.2 mph. 287' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-73 mph. Short and quick arm action, high 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.01-2.15 pop times. Flexible from the crouch with good hip mobility, strong receiver and blocker with solid catch and throw skills.

Caleb Hastings, Lutcher (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/RHP One of the state's top uncommitted backstops.
Body: 6-0, 193-pounds. Physical with strong lower-half.
Hit: SH. Balanced and athletic stance with some weight pre-loaded into back hip, uses a simple load and stride. Rotates lower-half aggressively, stays compact and tight during turn, on-plane to contact and on-plane through extension with a two-handed finish, present pull-side power. Smoked a ball to RF for a single in Game 1. 67 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 87.6 mph. 315' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-77 mph. Short and quick arm stroke, high 3/4 release.
Defense: 1.97-2.09 pop times. Creates a small target for pitchers, strong receiver and blocker, quick and clean transfers on throw downs to the bag. Strong arm with backspin and carry on throws.

Will Howard, Catholic (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/1B
Body: 6-3, 200-pounds. Tall and physical.
Hit: RHH. Upright and open stance with bat head rested on back shoulder, gets front foot down early during a simple load and stride. Hands works straight down to contact with slightly uphill extension and a two-handed finish, works mostly up the middle and to the pull-side gap. 57.3 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 79.4 mph. 277' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-77 mph. Short arm action, 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.05-2.25 pop times. Adequate receiver with average catch and throw actions, blocked the ball well during game play, was vocal and positive with pitchers.

Evan Jacob, Chalmette (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-9, 185-pounds. Physical and durable.
Hit: RHH. Narrow and upright stance with hands held at shoulder height, reaches out with front foot during a simple load and stride. Back knee works through front knee, which drives a direct and linear path to contact with slightly uphill extension and a two-handed finish. Little length to the swing, but some power to the pull-side. 56.8 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 88.3 mph. 316' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-73 mph. INF-73 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 release.

Hands held at shoulder height, direct path to contact with slightly uphill extension and a two-handed finish, keeps weight back well during forward move, good bat to ball skills. 66.7 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 88.7 mph. 299' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-74 mph. Short and quick arm action, high 3/4 release.
Defense: 2.01-2.11 pop times. Excellent receiver, especially on the low pitch, creates a small target for pitchers, blocks the ball well and showed a quick and clean transfer on throw downs to the bag.
