On Monday January 18, 65 prospects from all across the state of Louisiana participated in a pro-style workout at the state of the art Big Easy Sportsplex in Harahan, LA in front of the PBR Louisiana Scouting Staff and several college coaches in attendance. Below is a look at some of the statistical leaders as well as the complete list of showcase stats.

Top Home To 1st Times

ED White Senior, Alex Hawkins, took home the fastest time showing elite quickness by posting a 4.1 home to 1st as a right-handed hitter.

Toolsy, uncommitted 2017 catcher from Mandeville HS, Fritz Walker, showed great athleticism running a 4.12 home to 1st time and has a physical, strong frame.

Unsigned senior, Caleb Ricca (Dutchtown HS), showed fast twitch actions posting a 4.2 home to 1st time.

Cameron Crawford, 2017 INF from Dutchtown HS, continues to show athleticism running a 4.2 home to 1st time.

Uncommitted ‘17, Bo Hardin (Lafayette HS), showed why he is one of the top 2017s in the region with an impressive array of tools which included a positional velocity of 86 mph.

Outfielders, Dean Alexander (Thomas Jefferson) and Cullen Ballard (Dutchtown HS), showed solid arm strength posting positional velocities of 83 mph.

2017 Infielder Nick Fruge (St. Thomas More HS), continues to develop showing a clean arm action with arm strength.

Top Exit Velocities

Unsigned Senior, Hudson Laborde (Lafayette HS), showed raw power and bat speed posting a 97 mph exit velocity.

’17 INF, Griffith Olinde (Claiborne Christian HS) showed why he is one of the premium bats in the 2017 class putting on a loud round of batting practice, as well as recording a 96 mph exit velocity.

Left-handed hitting 2018, Cade Beloso (Foster(TX) HS) showed gap power during batting practice, and posted an eye opening 94 mph exit velocity.

Uncommitted 2017s, Fritz Walker and Nolan Tiersch (St. Michael’s HS) also showed explosive bat speed posting, 92 and 90, mph exit velocities respectively.

ULM commit, Cole Trichel (Ouachita Christian HS, RHP), showed he is one of the best 2016 arms in the state as he sat 85-87 mph with loads of life and spun a quality breaking ball.

’17 RHP, Bo Hardin (Lafayette HS), exploded on the scene yesterday sitting 85-87 mph with clean arm action, and also showed a tight spinning breaking ball with depth and feel.

Unsigned Senior, Dean Alexander (Thomas Jefferson HS, LHP), made a big step forward on Monday sitting 82-85 mph with life and command of the strike zone.

’17 RHP, Ethan Campo (Northshore HS), showed quick arm speed and an athletic delivery sitting 82-85 mph.

Pearl River CC commit, Camden Dusang (Fontainebleau HS, RHP), showed a lightning quick arm, with looseness and projection sitting 82-85 mph.
