It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our full updated MD/DE Class of 2026 rankings with our Top 100 release. Throughout this week we have highlighted new faces and risers whose stock has taken a jump in the past few months.
Below, we take a look at three players to keep close eyes on heading into the winter months.

An eye-opening performance at this year's Mid-Atlantic State games sees southpaw Spencer Gilcrest (Walter Johnson) climb right outside the Top 50 of this newest update. It's an athletic makeup, standing 5-foot-9, 170 pounds with some proportional strength throughout. Working out of an extended side-step windup, the arm action is quick and short with a consistent ability to induce swing and miss in and out of the zone, mixing a tighter 1/7 breaking ball down in the zone. Fastball velocity will continue to tick up and we see this as an under-the-radar arm to get eyes on this Spring.

There's a ton to dream on in two-way Logan Garey (Liberty), and our staff sees the wiry, 5-foot-11, 150 pounder land inside the Top 70 of this latest update. It's an athletic operation at the dish, showcasing consistent line drive tendencies to the middle with controlled intent and plenty of strength still to be added in the barrel and frame. The makeup on the bump is especially enticing, mixing a three pitch arsenal for strikes with consistent arm side run on an upper 70's fastball and some late bite to a 1/7 breaking ball. A confident arm, look for velocity to tick up as the body fills out.

A player that continues to trend in the right direction, backstop Lucas Acerenza (Frederick) continues to mold his game and the results back up the hard work put in over the past year or so. The body continues to clean up, now standing at a strong 5-foot-9, 160 pounds that has allowed strength to be the forefront at the dish. It's an uphill path with some feel for the barrel, staying within himself and continuously peppering backspin line drives to the middle.
