TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27TH

+ RHP/OF Collin Haney (Columbia, 2025) is known more for his ability at the plate along with solid defensive play but on Tuesday evening he held a strong Oak Grove offense somewhat in check. Using a fastball that sat in the low 80's (T83), he showed good command low in the zone and away from right handed hitters. His fastball, along with a late moving slider inducing soft contact during his ousting and allowed the Wildcats to stay in the game fro the beginning. Look for the uncommitted Haney to heat up at the plate as Columbia will be a competitive team in the 4A class this season.
