TUESDAY, APRIL 9TH

+ LHP/OF Jamaurion McQueen (Brandon, 2025) was called on for relief on Tuesday night in a district matchup versus Oak Grove and made a solid impression. The Southern Mississippi recruit is well known for his offensive and defensive ability so this was our first time seeing McQueen on the mound. Using a fastball that sat 85-87 mph, and touched 89, the 6-3, 180 pound lefty held the Warriors in check for the remainder of the game. His secondary stuff was sharp as well which included a breaking ball with tons of depth and 1/7 shape, and a change up that played well off his fastball. With just over 4 innings on the mound this season, he could be another big arm for the Bulldogs as they get closer to playoff action.
