CSI Scout Day: Positional Data Dive

On Friday, October 6rd, the PBR Idaho staff travelled into Twin Falls to host our annual College of Southern Idaho Scout Day on campus at Skip Walker Field. This event featured 43 players within the Golden Eagles baseball program, both freshman and sophomores, and allowed our staff an opportunity to get an in-depth first look at the talent within the junior college program.

Body Rotation: A swing that has the appropriate relative contributions of body and bat rotations is an efficient and Powerful swing that maintains proper sequencing. An efficient baseball swing is one in which the body creates the initial movements, which is then transferred to the arms and out to the bat, thereby maximizing Bat Speed through this proximal-to-distal kinematic sequencing movement pattern.
