Scouting Report
5.3.17 - Lean projectable body type, high upside defender. Showed the tools to make all the plays defensively, arm carries well from an over the top slot, also showed an athletic arm when on the move. Went in the hole twice to make backhanded plays, one deep that threw out a 4.51 runner down the line. Proved he could stick at shortstop. Commands the infield, showed leadership qualities defensively. Right-handed hitter, offensively stays loose in the box, occasionally to a fault, athletic setup and hands, aggressive approach. 4.29 down the line on a 5-3 pulled slider out of the zone, 4.50 on a 4-3. High follow 2019 prospect.
4.15.17 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound, lean, wiry, athletically built, right-handed hitting, shortstop. Plenty of room for continued physical development. Highly-interesting sophomore shortstop. Looks the part, plays with bounce, confidence and fluid actions. Defensively, soft hands, plays under control, maintains good body control on the move. Made an impressive play in the hole, planted and threw with ease. Short, over-the-top arm action, average arm strength for the left-side of the infield but throws are true and flash carry. Offensively, open, tall setup, pre-pitch rhythm, slight leg-lift timing trigger. Contact-type hitter, also showed he can bunt, was 4.08 down the line on a bunt. Looks to stay short to the ball and use the middle of the field. High-follow 2019 infielder.

Scouting Report
5.11.17 - Currently ranked No. 2 in the Illinois’ 2020 class and No. 33 overall. 6-foot-2, 180-pound, physically advanced, strong, athletically built, right-handed hitting outfielder. High-ceiling prospect with the bat. Starts from a tall, open setup, relaxed and quiet in the box; slight pre-pitch rhythm in his hands and short leg-lift timing trigger. Quick twitch in swing, stays short to the ball, lower-half involved in swing. Creates explosive bat speed for age, looks to do damage on every swing, maintains good balance throughout and understands the strike zone. In his first at-bat doubled off the left-field wall. Walked in his next two at-bats and then grounded out sharply in his final at-bat. Defensively, natural center-fielder but plays shortstop for Rushville. Long arm action, ¾ slot and throws carry across the diamond. Made multiple over the shoulder catches look easy, ranging into shallow left and center field. Steady hands and clean exchange on the infield. High-level 2020 prospect.
10.10.16 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound, physically advanced, strong, broad shouldered, right-handed hitting outfielder. Put himself in the category for one of the best 2020 outfield prospects we’ve seen to date, especially with the bat. Advanced offensively, fluid rhythm, present bat speed, explosive hands, made a lot of hard/loud contact and has the ability to backspin the baseball to all fields. Path works short, level and gets extension through contact. Stays balanced throughout, gap-to-gap approach and registered an 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, fluid footwork, steady hands and plays through the baseball. Easy, long and loose arm action from a high ¾ slot, throws carry and clocked at 82 mph. Also, ran a 7.21 laser-timed 60. High-level 2020 prospect.
