QUICK HITS

+ Lane Brown: 2026 prospect listed at 6 foot and 190 pounds. Shows baseball ability as he looked clean in the outfield coming into the baseball. Could be patty at times as he works to get his rhythm in order but showed good feet and arm strength right in the low 80’s. Showed some pop with loud barrels with multiple upper 80’s mph with a max exit velocity of 92 mph. Showed barrel control and potential for pop as he progresses in his high school career.

+ Jared Peterson: The 2026 outfielder standing 5 foot 11 and 170 pounds clocked a sub 7 sixty with a time of 6.98. Stood out defensively with his actions and the way the arm worked. Velocity is sure to come with him, while showing ability to deliver on target throws on a line or through a 1 hop. Displayed nice barrel control with a 82% sweet spot percentage to a few mid 80’s mph exit velocites. Stayed in the middle of field with more room to add strength at the plate.

+ Carson Darr: Twitchy mover on the diamond and presents workable athleticism. Low 7.1’s in the sixty with a decent glove defensively. Smooth in his transitions from receiving to throw. Delivered accurate throws and has more room to add arm strength. Few upper 80 mph exit velos. Will need to add muscle but has an easy frame to add good weight. Showed good baseball ability with room for added intangibles.

+ Sam Mathews: 2024 primary catcher looking for a home at the next level and shows ability to do so. Showed flexible ankles and hips working through the baseball upon receiving, while gaining ground to second for a consistent 1 hop on the target. Showed 2.00-2.05 pop with present arm strength at 79 mph.

+ Boone Harris: 2025 prospect listed at 5 foot 10 and 160 pounds showed nice range defensively with good receiving skills. Good foot and hips and stood out defensively at the event. 83 mph across the diamond, Harris offers some projection with the body and will need to continue to develop and add strength to his frame but overall a good defensive fielder.
