Game Preview:  Both programs enter this 2 game matchup with strong pitching staffs who have made scoring runs a difficult prospect for opposing teams with Patrick Henry having allowed just 45 runs in 20 games while the Cathedral Catholic staff has given up 55 runs in 18 games. The Dons offense comes in slightly more explosive having scored just under 6 runs a game (5.9 runs per game) while the Patriots are plating 4.8 runs per game. On the mound Telfer has been the standout ace for the Dons having thrown 36 innings this spring while punching out 50 hitters picking up 4 wins with an astounding .58 ERA. After Telfer a trio of arms have contributed strong work with Smyth, Jackson Bell and Luke Eger collecting the majority of the rest of the starts and wins for he Dons. On the offensive side Selga and Bachman are both hitting over .400 to lead the Cathedral Catholic lineup with Gudoy and the Harrington brothers both having stellar springs. Patrick Henry features a bevy of arms who have been downright dominant on the spring season with 5 at the front leading the way in Gardini, Cappelletti, Moloney, Hamilton Collins & Nico Lopez who have carried the bulk of the innings with all having ERAs under 2.66 at the highest and highlighted by Lopez with a 0.00 ERA in 12 innings of work with 2 saves.
