Prep Baseball Report Iowa

The 2022 summer circuit has just about come to a close. It was a busy few months for our staff across multiple events late Spring, high school summer season, and August events as well. With all that has transpired, it is an appropriate time to revisit the rankings. The 2023 class is starting to take shape with the top players continuing to cement themselves at the top while others begin to emerge as names to know.

Our updated and expanded list covers 125 names in the class that we’re high on heading into the Fall season. Since its inception in 2005, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive year-round coverage in every state we are in. The mission of the Prep Baseball Report is to scout and promote amateur baseball - high school, junior college and college - and, ultimately, help athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level.

Rankings are based on evaluations by the PBR Iowa staff; as well as additional PBR scouts across the country who have seen prospects from the state at various events.

With a majority of the prospects on the list uncommitted, the goal is for this information to help assist  college coaches as they look to finalize their recruiting classes and add additional pieces to their roster.
