Risers

Every update there are players that make much bigger that expected jumps. Below are five player who shot up that rankings in this edition.

Peyton Gosch RHP / 1B / Kapaun Mt. Carmel, KS / 2025

Until this preseason we hadn't seen Gosch past 85 mph. At the Wichita Preseason ID he showed a fastball that lived in the upper 80s, a solid breaking ball, and a developing changup. The right-hander also has some funk in his delivery and arm action that produces deception. At 6-foot-2, 197-pounds with long limbs, Gosch has the potential to add more velo.

Hayes Allen RHP / 1B / Bishop Carroll, KS / 2025

Allen has added substantial velo this year. The strong bodied 6-foot-3, 225-pounder has cleaned up his his arm action and added strength that has allowed his fastball to creep into the low 90s at times. Allen has the athleticism and strength to also provid some fire power in the Bishop Carroll offense as well. Allen is up nearly 30 spots in this rankings.

Lance Alexander 3B / SS / Olathe Northwest, KS / 2025

A prospect previously more well known as a position player, Alexander has added arm strength that makes him a must see prospect on the mound. Alexander was up to 87 in his pen at the BTL Scout Day and there have been reports of him being even firmer in game this spring. Alexander is up over 70 spots in this edition of the rankings.

Davis Robinson SS / 2B / Shawnee Mission West High, KS / 2025

Always a skilled defender, Robinson has added obvious strength which has taken his offensive game and run tool to a new level. An infielder that has a real chance to stick at short at the next level, Davis is a high follow prospect. He is up over 20 spots in this edition.

Newcomers (All uncommitted in the top 50)

We have added more players to our junior class spring update than we ever have before. Below, we take a quick look at the top 5 players we have added that college should know about.

Ethan Cox RHP / RHP / Bishop Carroll Catholic, KS / 2025

Cox showed up on our radar at the Wichita Preseason ID. Cox showed controlled athleticism with a simple delivery that he repeated well. He commanded his upper 80s fastball in the zone, and most impressively, spun one of the best swing and miss sliders in the state.

Charlie Peters SS / 2B / Free State, KS / 2025

Peters lists himself as an infielder, but it was his work on the mound that really caught our attention. The right-hander showed an upper 80s fastball with ride through the zone at the Engaged Athletics Scout Day. He pairs his fastball with a 12/6 curveball that tunnels well.

Warren Vallejo SS / 2B / LIFE PREPARATORY ACADEMY, KS / 2025

Vallejo is a quick twich athlete with excelent actions on the infield and enough arm to stay on the left side. As Vallejo shortens his swing and adds strength, he will become a can't miss prospect.

Josiah Sems SS / 2B / Trinity Academy, KS / 2025

A high level defender with elite hands, feet, arm strength, and knowledge of how to play D at the high school level. As Sems continues to polish his left-handed swing, he is on his way to becoming one of the top position player prospects in the state.

Tyler Frantz RHP / OF / Newton, KS / 2025

The 6-foot-2 right-hander had a breakout preformance at the Wichita Preseason ID. Frantz featured a fastball into the upper 80s with an average horizontal movement of 14 inches. As the fast-armed prospect continues to sharpen his slider, he could quickly move up our rankings.

Connor Bohon SS / OF / Mill Valley, KS / 2025

QB1 at Mill Valley, Bohon is one of the top athlete on the baseball field in the state. Bohon tested through the roof in all of our athletic testing at the MOKAN Preseason All-State event and it is already transfering to the field this spring. One of the highest celings of any position player in the class, Bohon is a must follow prospect.
