The Prep Baseball Louisiana Playoff staff will highlight the top playoff performances after the completion of each round of the 2024 LHSAA playoffs.  It serves as an opportunity for our staff to highlight players, from across the state, that put up impressive performances during each week of the playoffs.

PLAYOFF PEFORMERS (ROUND 1)

Grayden Harris LHP / Central BR, LA / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 5 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 280 / POS: 32 The Southern Miss recruit came through with arguably the biggest performance of his high school career.  In Game 1 vs. Zachary, Harris tossed a complete game no-hitter with 2 BB and 13 K's.

Jacob Leblanc LHP / OF / Central BR, LA / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 75 / POS: 13 The Northwestern State recruit came through in a massive way for the Wildcats in their first round playoff series win over Zachary.  Leblanc went 4-8 at the plate, over the course of the two games, which included a go-ahead grand slam in the Top of the 7th in Game 2.  He also earned the 7th inning save in Game 2, giving up 1 H and 0 ER with 0 BB and 2 K's.

Slade Shove-Knox RHP / Sulphur, LA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 59 / POS: 12 The uncommitted junior had another stellar start last Friday in the Tors opening game of their first round playoff series against East Ascension.  Shove-Knox tossed a complete game and gave up 1 ER on 3 H with 4 BB and 10 K's, as the Tors beat the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

	Dylan Navarre LHP /  Loreauville, LA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 153 / POS: 10 The uncommitted junior delivered a quality outing on the mound last Friday in Loreauville's opening round playoff game against North Webster.  Navarre tossed a complete-game and gave up 1 ER on 3 H with 3 BB and 13 K's to help Loreauville advance to the second round of the LHSAA playoffs.
	Collin McCombs Bell City, LA / 2025 The uncommitted junior came through on the mound and at the plate for Bell City in their first round playoff win over Calvin.  McCombs went 3-4 at the plate with 2 2B, 3 RBI, and 2 R, while also earning the win on the mound, after going 5 IP and giving up 1 ER on 4 H with 3 BB and 2 K's.

Aidan Ryan LHP / Covington, LA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 129 / POS: 7  The uncommitted junior southpaw turned in one of his best performances last Friday in Game 1 of the Lions first round playoff series against Destrehan.  Ryan tossed a complete game three-hit shutout with 2 BB and 5 K's, on 99 total pitches (63 strikes | 36 balls).

Sutton Lewis RHP / MIF / Neville, LA / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 44 / POS: 8 The Louisiana Tech recruit did a little bit of everything for the Tigers in their first round playoff series upset over Hahnville.  Lewis hit at a .300 clip over the three games with his biggest performance coming in Game 3, where he went 2-3 with a HR, 3 RBI, and 3 RS.  He also earned the win on the mound in Game 3, after going 4 1/3 IP, giving up 1 R and 0 ER on 2 H with 2 BB and 3 K's.

	Cameron Tipton OF / RHP / Chalmette, LA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 36 / POS: 10 The Troy University recruit came through for the Owls, both on the mound and at the plate, in their first round playoff series against Slidell.  Tipton went 4-9 (.444) at the plate with a 2B and 4 RBI's, and also earned the win on the mound in Game 2, after tossing a complete-game, giving up 1 ER on 3 H with 2 BB and 4 K's, on 80 total pitches (53 strikes | 27 balls).
	Colton Smith RHP / Parkway, LA / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 91 / POS: 24 The Jones College recruit earned the win in Game 1 of Parkway's first round playoff series with Ponchatoula last Friday night.  Smith tossed 6 2/3 innings and gave up 2 R and 1 ER on 2 H with 3 BB and 14 K's, to improve his season record to 9-1.
	Jake Clifton RHP / Pearl River, LA / 2025 The uncommitted junior earned the win in Game 1 of the Rebels first round playoff series against Morgan City.  Clifton tossed 6 2/3 shutout IP and gave up only 4 H with 5 BB and 9 K's.
	Alexander Harwell RHP / Pearl River, LA / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 28 / POS: 5 The uncommitted sophomore was brilliant in Game 2 for the Rebels in their first round playoff series against Morgan City.  Harwell went 6 innings and gave up 1 ER on 3 H with 1 BB and 11 K's to lead Pearl River to the series-clinching win.
	Bryce Robinson RHP / INF / St. Augustine, LA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 7 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 423 / POS: 89 The Tulane recruit had a nice couple of games at the plate for St. Augustine in their first round playoff series win over East Jefferson.  Robinson went 1-2 with a HR, RBI, 4 R, and 4 BB.
	Braylen Montgomery OF / Walker, LA / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 5 / POS: 2 The uncommitted sophomore had a big-time first round playoff series for the Wildcats against Haughton.  Montgomery went 6-13 (.462) with 2 HR, 1 2B, 3 RBI, and 4 R, as Walker advances to the second round of the playoffs, where they'll meet up with #3 seed Sam Houston.
	Koa Romero OF / RHP / Hahnville, LA / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 10 / POS: 2 The uncommitted freshman two-way prospect was stellar for the Tigers, even though they lost their first round series to #24 seed Neville.  Romero went 7-9 (.778) in the three-game series with 3 2B's and also earned the save in Hahnville's Game 2 win.
