Big time matchup in the Metro 4A conference between Grimsley and Ragsdale. Ragsdale won 3-1 in a very tight matchup. Clay Rosser lead off the game with a triple and scored on a single Max Snyder. Dillon Bullard got Ragsdale on the board with a 2 out triple in the 3rd inning. After back to back walks in the 5th a sac bunt moved the runners, back to back wild pitches gives Ragsdale the lead 3-1. Kyle Manees came in relief in the 7th with bases loaded  and 1 out. SCOUT BLOG

Garrett Crum, RHP, Ragsdale HS, 2024

UNC-A Commit- Cold night and windy didn't effect Crum any. FB ranged 85-88 T89 for all 6 innings with command to both sides of the plate. Curve ball played off fastball well ranging 72-76 with good late action. Competitor on the mound.

Dillon Bullard, C, Ragsdale HS, 2025

Uncommitted 2025- Joyful player to watch due to personality and engagement in the game. Thick lower half helps him behind the plate blocking and receiving well. Pop time 2.16-2.25 in between innings. Drove the baseball to both sides of the field including a loud triple to RCF.

Davis Cook, RHP, Grimsley, 2025

Uncommitted 2025- Uses a 3/4 slot with a slightly open plant leg to sink the ball. Fastball ranged 84-86 early before settling 82-84.  Commands well to the glove side occasionally pulling a pitch. Curveball is best secondary pitch and might be best overall pitch. Sharp tight with late breaking action ranged 73/76 with late action. Will be a fun follow as he continues to add strength.
