TC Roberson tops JH Rose in a battle of the Power 25

Big time matchup between 2 teams in the power 25 did not disappoint. TC Roberson used a big 6th inning scoring 6 to take the lead and the win 7-1 over JH Rose. Micah Simpson was the winning pitcher going 5 innings giving up 3 hits. Caden Davidson lead the way going 2-3 with a rbi 2B. JT Smith hit a rbi double off the LCF wall to break the game open in the 6th.

UNC-Commit- Lanky 6'7 righty who threw well in his outing. The tall right stands on the 3B side of rubber, uses a long arm swing creating tremendous extension. The fastball sat 88-90 in the first 2 innings before settling 85-89 for the last 3. Confidence in breaking ball 72-74 with sweeping action. Change-up has makings of plus pitch even though doesn't throw often sits between 82-84.

Caden Davidson, 1B, TC Roberson, 2025

Uncommitted- Physical presence in the box barreling up 2 balls. Uses a vertical slightly open stance, high hands will a minimal leg kick. Power is present and will continue to develop.

JT Smith, C, TC Roberson, 2025

Wofford Commit- Game leader behind the plate. Pop times ranged 2.14-2.2 in between innings. Barrelled  a ball off the LCF fence into the wind. Willing blocker behind the plate, good framing and strong wrist control.
