Preseason All-State Roster Preview: Part Twelve

Scott Hood
Oklahoma State Director

As we approach one day away from our premiere event of the year, we dive into some of the prospects that will be making their debuts at one of our events.  We are always being recommended prospects through various coaches and channels throughout the state and are always on the hunt to take looks at as many prospects throughout Oklahoma that we can.   While some of these prospects we will be seeing for the first time, there are a handful that we have caught through our scouting coverage in the spring and summer and will be looking to get verified data and video on each of these prospects.

Jaxon Adcock SS / RHP / Cameron, OK / 2027

While this is exactly Adcock's first Prep Baseball experience, his last came as a member of Team Arkansas a the 2021 Junior Future Games where he was actually playing up a year.  In our own research, Adcock has clearly grown quite significantly since with a longer and leaner build and showing strong defensive actions and glove action.  Adcock will look to update his profile to more accurately depict the type of player he currently is.

Corbin Arrington RHP / 3B / Lee's Summit, MO / 2025

Arrington comes down from Lee's Summit Missouri to make his Prep Baseball debut at the Preseason All-State.  The 5-foot-10 and 210 pound right hander works with an up tempo delivery with a feel for finding the strike zone and attacking hitters.  He also shows some short depth and action on the breaking ball to pick up swing and misses.

Clark Cariker SS / RHP / Jenks, OK / 2027

Cariker makes his Prep Baseball debut this Sunday at the Preseason All-State where the athletic 2-way will look to impress.  With our own research on Cariker, it appears his speed and overall athleticism should be a carrying tool that paired with his short and compact stroke should make him a fun watch this weekend.

Eli Dougherty LHP / OF / Dale, OK / 2026

The talented left-hander makes his event debut after impressing in some live looks at him this past summer on the circuit.  Dougherty has high-end pitchability and projectable size at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds.  Offensively he uses a levered swing to create hard contact and showing present gap power.  The prospect who will now be competing for Dale this Spring will look to continue to raise his stock with a strong showing this weekend.

Cole Gossett 3B / RHP / Moore, OK / 2026

We will get our first look this Sunday from the 2-way prospect from Moore at the Preseason All-State.  Gossett looks to have some quick whip with the barrel and shows a strong use of the lower half in the swing to generate some gap power.  Gossett will also take the mound and will look to put up strong numbers using his lean and projectable 6-foot-1 and 165 pound frame.

Henry Hankins RHP / SS / Prague, OK / 2027

This will be our first look at the 6-foot-1 and 170 pound two-way from Prague at the Preseason All-State.  Hankins will be taking part in the event on the mound as well taking reps as a middle infielder this weekend.

Daniel Harrington LHP / 1B / Claremore, OK / 2026

The sophomore first baseman will make his Prep Baseball debut this Sunday at ORU after already showing high levels of productivity at the Varsity level as freshman for the Zebras.  Even as a freshman, Harrington led the team in home runs, batting average and slugging percentage using a short rotational swing and showing some pull side pop.

Keagen Marshall RHP / OF / DEER CREEK HS, OK / 2026

The long and lanky 2-way from Deer Creek makes his first appearance at one of our events this Sunday at the Preseason ID.  Standing at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, reports have Marshall already working into the mid 80's with the fastball and making jumps in the past couple of months.  Offensively, Marshall shows a levered swing with present gap power and will look to make a splash and rise his stock at ORU.
