QUICK HITS

Jayden Pearl OF / SS / Battle Ground Academy, TN / 2027

2027 MIF/OF that has plenty of tools to work with to his game currently. The 5 foot 11 and 195 pound prospect has a physically mature frame for his age with a rare blend of strength and speed that should translate to even more ability in the future. Clocking his sixty at 6.86 with a low 80’s arm from both the infield and outfield, which really may be the only thing that is above average currently, while his other traits are off the charts. Has a rangy centerfielder upside when it is all said and done through his high school career. Displayed true potential with the bat with an unheard of 101 mph EV to go along with an 88 mph average EV. Rotates his hips effortlessly, with really advanced bat speed and control. Will have a chance to really hit for power and contact and will draw a lot of attention to his game. High upside freshman that should push for starting time immediately.

Caleb Carpenter OF / RHP / Independence , TN / 2027

2027 OF/RHP currently listed at 6 foot 1 and 160 pounds with a live arm that offers plenty of projection. Slim and athletic currently that will add plenty of muscle, size and strength over the next four years. Mid 80’s and peaking at 86 mph on throws. Showed smooth actions receiving in the outfield, while darting throws to home with an easy and connected arm motion. Offered bat speed and hit ability at the plate with balance and fluidity that should continue to translate. Stayed within the low to mid 80’s in terms of EV while topping out at 89 mph EV. His most upside however may be on the mound where he fires from a long arm with a high release point for his height and age. FB sat mostly between 78-82, while topping out right at 84 mph from the left side with quality spin and about 18 inches on average HZM. His SL is a pitch that will be a major weapon and has true plus potential down the line. Sat between 68-70 mph with 2300+ spin at just over 6 inches of average HZM with consistent strikes and ability to use it. CH worked 70 mph and showed ability to kill spin (1600) and will need to continue to kill depth as it showed hoppy. Overall has high upside on the mound and in the field with a live arm.

Rylan Moses OF / SS / Goodpasture Christian , TN / 2025

2025 OF prospect that continues to get better and better every time we see him. Standing currently at 6 foot 1 and 170 pounds, Moses has big hands and long limbs that should project for more in the future. Consistent bat from the left side with barrel control and bat speed. Quick twitchy athlete clocking the sixty at 6.78 with more to come. May be one of the better true outfielding defenders in the 2025 class of TN that has a bat that will play Division 1 level. Sprayed balls in the right field gap to a 95 mph max EV that averaged out to 85 mph through a high line-drive and fly ball percentage. Showed 90 mph arm strength from the outfield with missiles on line to home that carried trajectory. Plays anywhere in the outfield and will be a consistent doubles guy that gets on base.

Adam Riley RHP / 3B / Jo Byrns, TN / 2026

The star of the show on the mound comes in with some serious noise and ability to back that up. Listed at 6 foot 3 and 185 pounds, the Jo Byrns HS product should step in immediately and be their ace this freshman season. FB sat 86-87 throughout the entire pen with 2100-2200 RPM’s with down hill carry for 100% strikes. This is a guy that has a lot of feel for his body and understanding of his release point. Has true shape and difference between CB at -8 VB/-9 HZM and SL at -1.5 VB/-7+ HZM while many prospects at his age show either a blended or gyro shape to their breaking balls. Both will continue to grow in shape and have swing and miss/strikeout potential. Changeup showed the ability to kill spin at 1600 with 11+ inches of HZM. Riley comes into hs already pretty polished for an arm and should have plenty of suiters looking his way coming 1st week of Junior year in HS.

Lawson Lee RHP / 1B / Siegel, TN / 2026

Tall, long, lanky with plenty of room to continue to his frame that stands 6 foot 8 and 195 pounds. The ‘26 offers plenty of projection with a FB in the low 80’s with bore. SL is his best weapon at the moment with spin in the low 2000’s and about 14 inches of HZM right on the line for a true sweeping slider shape. CH also showed feel and pitch ability working in the 71-74 mph with killed spin and progressing HZM. Upside is clearly present and must continue to get stronger and more consistent.

Trey Dooley OF / RHP / Camden Central High School, TN / 2024

Unsigned ‘24 prospect that offers a ton of athletic ability on the ball field. Physical prospect that stands 6 foot 2 and 195 lbs clocking the sixty right at 6.8 seconds. Had some loud barrels during his BP round with a batted ball distance of 360+ feet to go alongside a 92 max EV. Showed plus arm strength with low 90’s, while topping 94 mph from the outfield. Should continue to build off his performance and have a big spring. Someone that should be able to find a suitable home at the next level as the kid can play.

Noah Briggs: ‘25 middle infielder that had a really stand out day on multiple fronts. Sound defender up the middle with quick feet and twitchy hip turning to both his glove and back hand. Showed ability with the glove with soft hands that he was able to work into his body to an easy short arm action throwing across the diamond at max 92 mph. At the plate, really separated himself with his BP round. Had loud barrel after loud barrel to deep left-center field with upper 80’s and low 90’s EV, while finishing his last swing with a 97 max EV. Briggs has some physical traits to him at 6 foot 2 and 185 pounds that surely will continue to add size and strength to his frame. Solid player that looked the part and showcased extremely well. Worthy follow for this upcoming spring season and should continue to get looks his way.
