Scouting Report
The speedy outfielder from Cedar Ridge high school had the looks of a top of the order centerfielder at the Top Prospect Games: Central Texas in June. He started his day by running a blistering 6.58 60, showing the speed necessary to stick in CF. At the plate, he showed a line drive oriented swing used to spray balls all over the field. In game, his barrel skills showed up as he had consistent ab’s and found his way on base multiple times. I expect Johnson to continue to gain momentum as we head toward the HS season.
