The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we have started the '24 CIF High School baseball season Prep Baseball California is now highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '25 athletes. The players featured are pulled directly from our '25 Class Rankings. These JR year players are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.

We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts and the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a NorCal '25 OF Jaden Neugebauer from Chico High School. With a compact athletic build at  5'10 160 lbs frame with wiry strength to him and a CF defensive profile and intriguing LH bat. He showed 7.2 60 speed with Prep Baseball California, but has been as low at 6.8 in the 60 and a 81 MPH OF arm velocity with his throws that combined with his good actions in the OF should keep him in CF long term. A LH hitter with compact/direct bat that plays to line drive contact with barrel accuracy his batted ball data from Prep Baseball California workouts shows raw that plays to gap to gap doubles power with some sneaky pullside authority and an intriguing 75% sweet spot rate. His athletic ability, premium defensive position profile, solid offensive ability from the LH side and speed that can create havoc on the bases Neugbauer is a name to know in the '25 class for college programs looking for LH bats who have premium defensive profiles.
