The New York 2018 rankings are constantly being updated and expanded quietly the more we see player's through our scouted events. An overall updated rankings will be released this spring for the 2018 senior-class. This sort of task can be very tedious, so today lets have some fun with the 2018 Rankings and the players from our events.

Looking inside the 2018 rankings, we have created a list below highlighting the top three players in terms of highest, or best measurable stat - for every measurable category we record (minus home-to-first). Only players who have attended one of our events (not tournaments) were eligible for our list below.

As I travel around the state seeing thousands of players a year I've noticed a consistent theme - the better players have the better numbers. This is a topic that's been heavily debated over the years and fortunately for us we are the leading-organization collecting the most up-to-date data and being able to reflect on that information and look for real trends. What we have found over the last four-years is that the high-end players (that will play at the next-level) have at least two above average measurable stats attached to their skill-set. The numbers don't always paint the clearest picture on every player, and that's why we scout them in live games as well, but when the dust settles the numbers just don't lie. Let's take a look at the 2018 measurable leaderboard.
