The Prep Baseball Report Illinois Showcase season is now complete for the 2017 calendar year. The year began with the Underclass Invitational, an invite-only event for the top 2019s and 2020s, at the time. 11 players from the event have already gone on to commit to a Division I program and six of the participants earned invitations to play in the PBR Future Games this past August.
