Preseason All-State: Infield Analysis

The Preseason All-State brings a collection of the top 2018 prospects from across the state, previewing what to expect this spring from some of the more impactful juniors. Earlier this week we kicked off our post event analysis with the top catching prospects.

Today we take a look at the top infield prospects. Infield was one of the deepest positions of the event and many of the players who did not make the top 10 will play an important role on varsity teams all over the state this spring. Stay tuned the rest of this week for more event analysis from the Preseason All-State.

TOP INFIELD PROSPECTS

1. Branden Comia, SS, Carl Sandburg, 2018
Illinois commit. 5-foot-11, 176-pound shortstop, solid frame and build with sneaky athleticism. 6.87 runner, highly athletic and ability to stick at shortstop. Defensively makes the difficult plays look easy, soft confident hands, plays well on the move and through the baseball, cuts down angles well, exchange is quick and clean. Arm action is athletic, short and quick release, accurate and athletic arm from anywhere on the field, 88 mph across the diamond. Offensively showed off a new switch-hitting approach. Natural right-hander, athletic quiet setup with balance. Short compact explosive bat, hands are loose and quick twitch, gap to gap type with occasional pop, barrel aware. Left-handed swing is athletic and repeats, slightly more careful, easy smooth and repeated contact mostly to pull side. 92 mph exit velocity from the tee, 90 mph exit velocity from the left side.

2. Anthony Herron, 1B, Simeon, 2018
North Carolina recruit. 6-foot-1, 235-pound, physical, defined, hulking right-handed hitting first baseman. One of the top power bats in the Illinois’ 2018 class. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth load, short toe-tap stride and maintains excellent balance through contact. Remains quiet and simple, path is short to the ball, creates advance bat speed, makes a lot of hard contact, the ball jumps off his bat, current pull-side power; registered a 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, features highly athletic feet at first base for his size. Fluid, quick movements around the bag and maintains body control. Hands are soft, fields athletically out in front of his body. Short arm action and throws clocked at 72 mph across the infield.

3. Christian Lucio, SS, Mount Carmel, 2018
6-foot, 165-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. Advanced foot speed, 6.88 runner in the 60. Hits from a slightly open stance, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Easy swing with barrel control, uses the whole field, repeats well with loose athletic hands. Showed bat speed on level path, some extension, 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively hands are soft, shows actions and plays confidently, fluid action uses good angles. Arm action is short and loose, high ¾ slot, 84 mph exit velocity across the diamond.

4. D’Eric Shenault, SS, Kenwood, 2018
Wiry projectable frame, long loose limbs, 6-foot, 160-pound shortstop. Plus runner for age, 6.73 runner in the 60, laser timed. Highly athletic defender, moves well, confident soft hands, easy actions, projects well. Arm action is short and over the top, carries well, advanced arm for age, 86 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, tall setup, balanced stance, short lifted and replace stride. Easy swing, flat path on level plane, current singles type hitter, works gap to gap. 77 mph exit velocity from the tee.

5. Ryan Howe, SS/RHP, Prospect, 2018
6-foot-1, 165-pound right-handed hitting SS/RHP. Highly athletic, ran the 60 at 6.75. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short leg lift trigger and good balance. Pull hitter with a long, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively has a loose arm action from a ¾ slot. Throws showed carry across the infield at 88 mph. Plays thru the ball with soft hands and solid defensive actions. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a loose, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Closed landing with smooth rhythm. Fastball has running action at 83-86 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape with gradual action at 68-71 mph. Changuep has arm side running action at 75-78 mph for strikes.  

6. Francois Castillo, 3B/RHP, Clemente, 2018
Eastern Illinois commit. 6-foot, 210-pound, solid lower half, 3B/RHP. Defensively, long arm action, throws showed carry across the infield at 93 mph. Max effort with a long exchange and release. Offensively, right-handed hitter, toe tap stride with a long, uphill swing path, pull approach. Exit velocity clocked at 89 mph. Also, ran a 7.12 laser-timed 60. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery with an upright finish and maximum effort. Fastball sa 87-89 mph. Slider sat 73-77 mph. Changeup has cut action at 69-71 mph.

7. Jacob Plastiak, INF, Andrew, 2018
Wichita State commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound switch-hitting infielder, lean projectable frame. Offensively showed loose easy hands that work on a fluid uphill path to lift the baseball. Setup is balanced, short stride, on time. Flashed occasional pop, mostly gap to gap contact, 93 mph exit velocity from both sides of the plate. 7.06 runner in the 60. Big arm with carry across the diamond, 87 mph across, high ¾ slot, longer release. Third base projection, funnels the baseball with above average hands.

8. Malik Peters, SS, Mount Carmel, 2018
6-foot-2, 170-pound infielder, wiry build, long legs, projectable frame. Defensively played with easy actions on the infield, feet and hands work well together, athletic and plays through the baseball. Arm action is loose and athletic, can release from multiple angles, flashed carry at 87 mph across the diamond. Improved foot speed, 7.10 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, solid balance. Quick hands, path is short to the baseball and level through contact, line drive gap to gap approach, bat projects well as he adds strength. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee.

9. Jimmy Allen, INF, Timothy Christian, 2018
5-foot-11, 155-pound wiry, right-handed hitting infielder. Had one of the more impressive stat lines of the event. Ran a 6.94 laser-timed 60, was clocked at 90 mph across the infield and registered a 92 mph exit velocity. Defensively, reliable hands, ability to play through the baseball and maintains body control on the move. Arm is loose and quick, changes arm angles on the move, throws were accurate with carry. Offensively, balanced, open setup, low hands, slight bar load, toe-tap stride, fluid rhythm and average balance throughout. Athletic 2018 middle infield prospect.

10. Mason Sykes, OF/CIF, Conant, 2018
6-foot-4, 230-pound, strong, extra-large, wide-shouldered, physically imposing multi-positional prospect. Profiles as a corner infield/outfield type. Offensively, right-handed hitter, tied for the top exit velocity of the event, 99 mph. Balanced, tall setup, short stride and maintains balance through contact. Flashed bat speed, gap-to-gap approach and ball jumps off bat at times. Defensively, reliable hands and plays through the baseball on the infield and outfield. Clean arm from an over-the-top, high ¾ slot clocked at 84 mph from the outfield and infield. Also, ran a 7.19 laser-timed 60.

10. Grant Lalla, INF, Glenbard West, 2018
6-foot-4, 205-pound, highly advanced strong frame, well-proportioned, physical, infielder. Offensively, balanced, open setup, long leg-kick timing trigger and maintains balance through contact. Bat speed, long, level path, gets extension through contact, present pull power; 93 mph exit velocity. Defensively, prototypical first baseman’s frame, arm works out of a high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 76 mph across the diamond. 7.23 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

Logan Anderson, C/INF, Providence Catholic, 2018
6-foot-1, 215-pound catcher/third baseman, stocky build. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, open stance, short stride. Strong bat, long path, 95 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm played short and over the top, 74 mph out of the crouch, 77 mph across the diamond. Pop times ate 2.12-2.19.

Nick Baldassano, INF, Planfield East, 2018
5-foot-9, 170-pound, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, open setup, short stride, tendency to finish on backside. Bat stays short to the ball, occasional lift in swing and gap-to-gap approach. 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, fields out in front of his body and plays through the baseball. Maintained body control on slow roller. Arm works short, high ¾ slot and clocked at 78 mph across the diamond. 7.83 runner in the 60.

Brandon Bannon, C/INF, Richmond Burton, 2018
Athletic, live loose body, 5-foot-10, 150-pound catcher/infielder. Defensively showed a big arm out of the crouch, 77 mph, short loose action, quick release, carries to bag well. Quick actions out of the chute, feet work well, can improve direction. 7.06 runner in the 60. 1.93-2.08 pop times. Active receiver, blocks well, soft hands, low setup. Profiles best behind the plate, showed playable infield actions. 74 mph arm across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, short leg lift stride, simple approach. Line drive type hitter, above average bat speed, showed some length in path at times. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Danny Borgstrom, INF, Morris, 2018
5-foot-10, 165-pound, left-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, profiles as a leadoff-type hitter. Swing is simple, repeatable, short to the ball, controls the barrel and line-drive approach. Crouched, slightly open setup, minimal load and stride. Registered an 89 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, clean and quick exchange on the infield. Hands are steady and arm works short from a high ¾ slot; clocked at 86 mph across the diamond. 7.45 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

Austin Cain, INF, St. Joseph Ogden, 2018
6-foot, 160-pound infielder, lean wiry frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup with short stride, simple pre-pitch. Path is short and level, 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively, arm action is short, firm and over the top, 77 mph across the diamond. Showed ability to go to forehand side and make play on the move. 7.35 runner in the 60.

Mike Carey, INF, Andrew, 2018
5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed hitting infielder. Ran a 7.05 laser-timed 60. Offensively, balanced, open setup, short stride. Path works short to the ball, line-drive approach and fluid rhythm throughout. 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady hands, moves well to glove side, projects best at second base. Arm action is long and firm, over the top slot, 75 mph across the diamond.

Brendan Collins, INF, St. Laurence, 2018
5-foot-11, 170-pound infielder, lean wiry frame. Defensively showed playable hands, cushions the baseball. 7.32 runner in the 60, above average lateral movement, showed body control when on the move. Arm action is short, high ¾ slot, 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride. Level path, line drive type hitter, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Jonathan Cruz, INF, Elgin Academy, 2018
6-foot-, 160-pound shortstop, wiry loose frame. Defensively showed well above average actions on the infield, field athletically and shows body control. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, accurate across at 84 mph. 7.40 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, lower half works. Simple quiet approach, singles hitter to the middle of the diamond, repeats line drive contact. 92 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Drew Davis, SS, Illini Bluffs, 2018
5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from a crouched, spread out setup. Short keel lift stride with a high one arm finish. Showed strength thru contact with 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.13. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Threw 79 mph across the infield.

Anthony DeConcilis, INF, Lake Park, 2018
5-foot-10, 170-pound, right-handed hitting infielder. Ran a 6.97 laser-timed 60. Defensively, flashed athletic actions and body control on the infield. Fluid footwork, soft hands and loose arm clocked at 84 mph across the diamond. At the plate, balanced setup, short stride, uphill bat path and maintains balance through contact. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee.

Nathan Gomez, 2B, Lake View, 2018
6-foot-1, 163-pound right-handed hitting second baseman. At the plate hits from an open stance with  big leg kicks stride and average balance. Pull hitter with an uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.97. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot. Slower actions with a long, slow exchange. Threw 79 mph across the infield.

Blake Harseim, INF, Coal City, 2018
6-foot, 170-pound infielder. Right-handed hitter, open stance, short stride, occasionally dives. Flashes pop, backspin contact, sprayed the baseball. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm played loose from a ¾ slot, 82 mph across the diamond. Showed some body control, profiles best at third base. 7.36 runner in the 60.

Dylan Hauck, INF, Crete-Monee, 2018
6-foot-2, 175-pound infielder. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, loads hands back, leg kick stride, average balance. Path gets level early and stay flat with length, middle of the field line drives in BP. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.01 runner in the 60. Defensively arm action plays from a high ¾ slot, 83 mph across the diamond, gains ground through release, plays through the baseball.

Patrick Hayes, SS, Brother Rice, 2018
6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from an open setup with a short stride and good balance. Fluid rhythm with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.41. Defensively has a short, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with a clean exchange. Threw 82 mph across the infield.  

Jaylen Heard, 1B, Marian Catholic, 2018
6-foot, 240-pound right-handed hitting first baseman with a wide shouldered frame. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short leg lift stride and good balance. Easy power at the plate. Fluid rhythm with a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.68. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Threw 73 mph across the infield.

Bryce Hellgeth, C/RHP, Saint Viator, 2018
6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way player, solid frame, strong lower half. On the mound works directionally down the hill, regular effort, some rhythm. Short over the top arm strength. Fastball sat 85-86 mph, touched 87 mph, showed feel for the bottom of the zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 68-72 mph, slight deceleration. Changeup is 70-75 mph. Defensively showed arm strength, 79 mph out of the crouch, 81 mph across the diamond. Arm works with length out of the crouch, some carry, high ¾ slot. 2.04-2.12 pop times. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, leg kick trigger, simple setup. Flashed hard contact, 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.08 runner in the 60.

Andrew Hoffman, RHP/1B, Plainfield East, 2018
Projectable frame, long levers, 6-foot-3, 170-pounds, projects as a right-handed pitcher. Delivery is slightly rotational, tall and fall with higher front side, regular effort. Arm action is long, high ¾ slot. Fastball touched 87 mph, sat 83-85 mph, occasional sink to arm side. Curveball has 11/5 shape, showed consistent ability to drop for strikes, 69-71 mph. Straight changeup thrown with arm speed, 75-77 mph, some feel. RIght-handed hitter, tall setup with open stance. Long arms worked loosely, uphill path, slight pull side tendency. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Arm played at 82 across the diamond, serviceable actions around the bag. 7.72 runner in the 60.

Ryan Ignoffo, SS, Cary-Grove, 2018
5-foot-10, 191-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. At the plate hits from an open stance with a short stride and good balance. Long, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 98 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.13. Defensively showed a big arm across the infield throwing 89 mph. Long arm action from a high ¾ arm angle. Fluid footwork with a long exchange.

Hayden Juenger, RHP/INF, O’Fallon, 2018
6-foot, 180-pound two-way player, athletic frame, live loose body. On the mound delivery is athletic and repeats, squared landing athletic finish, compact and under control. Arm action is easy and quick, ¾ slot, loose projectable arm. Fastball is on level plane with hard arm side run, sat 86-88 mph, touched 89 mph. Curveball plays on 11/5 plane, gradual action with slight arm deceleration, showed feel for the strike zone, ranged 63-68 mph. Changeup is 74-77 mph, arm side action, showed feel for strikes. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, open setup, leg lift trigger. Loose hands, gap to gap contact, athletic hitter. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively moved well, above average defender, plays through the baseball and showed actions and body control. 83 mph arm across the diamond, loose ¾ slot, arm side run. 7.43 runner in the 60.

Jake Kapers, UTL, Mount Carmel, 2018
Valparaiso commit. 6-foot, 170-pound utility player, athletic shape. Projects best behind the plate. Defensively arm action is short and over the top, showed carry and accuracy 78 mph out of the crouch, 89 mph from the outfield, 87 mph across the infield. Soft hands receiving the baseball, quiet setup, exchange is quick and clean, 1.94-2.04 pop times, blocks well, athletic . Right-handed hitter, open stance with taller setup, drops hands in to load, leg lift stride back to square. Path is short, showed bat speed, line drive gap to gap approach. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.22 runner in the 60.

Hayden Laczynski, SS, Minooka, 2018
6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively hits from a narrow, open setup with a leg lift stride and good balance. Arm bar load with an uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 88 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.02. Defensively has a short arm action from a low ¾ slot. Slower actions and footwork. Threw 79 mph across the infield.

Cherokee LeBeau, INF, Minooka, 2018
6-foot-1, 185-pound, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, free swinger, aggressive approach, some violence and looseness in swing; registered a 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Open, tall setup, leg-kick timing trigger and long path through the hitting zone. Defensively, hands work soft and out in front of his body. Arm works long and from a ¾ slot, throws clocked at 81 mph across the diamond. 7.16 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

Jalen Lemons, 3B, Simeon, 2018
5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitting third baseman. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short heel lift stride. Line drive hitter with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.37. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Athletic defender with a quick exchange and soft hands. Threw 80 mph across the diamond.

Brandon Mahoney, INF, Brother Rice, 2018
6-foot-4, 210-pound, big-bodied, right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, balanced setup, pre-pitch hand rhythm, short stride and average balanced throughout. Long, uphill bat path and exit velocity registered at 86 mph from a tee. Defensively, steady hands and clean transfer at first base. Short arm action from a ¾ slot and clocked at 77 mph across the diamond. Also, 8.03 runner in the 60.

Jacob Marti, INF, Normal West, 2018
6-foot-3, 220-pound, infielder with a highly athletic, well-proportioned build, present strength. Impresses running a 6.76 laser-timed 60. Offensively, switch-hitter, flashed bat speed from both sides of the plate. Open setup, deep pre-pitch load, stride gets back to even and average balance through contact. Loose whippy hands from the left-side, more raw strength from the right; looks to drive and elevate the baseball from both sides of the plate. Exit velocity clocked at 97 mph from the right side and 84 mph from the left. Defensively, prototypical first baseman's frame and target. Throws from an over-the-top slot, clocked at 74 mph across the infield.

Cam McDonald, INF, Hall Township, 2018
6-foot-4, 180-pound, infielder with a lanky, athletic, projectable frame and plenty of room for continued physical development. Defensively, fluid footwork, plays light on his toes, maintains body control on the move, athletic fielding position, steady hands and clean transfer. Loose, quick, athletic arm action, throws carry and clocked at 87 mph across the diamond. Offensively, open, tall setup, smooth load, short leg-lift timing trigger and maintains balance through contact. Loose hands, flashed bat speed and a gap-to-gap approach. 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Also, ran a 7.28 laser-timed 60.

Blake Munch, INF, Joliet Catholic, 2018
6-foot, 170-pound infielder, solid sturdy frame. Right-handed hitter, open stance, short stride to even, strong balance. Pull side contact, path works slightly uphill, some extension, athletic hitter, 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm plays from a high ¾ slot, arm played strong at 84 mph across. Hands play clean, works through the baseball. 7.37 runner in the 60.

Jacob Newman, RHP/INF, Glenbrook South, 2018
6-foot-3, 193-pound, two-way prospect with a strong, durable frame and solid lower half. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, made a jump in velocity and stuff since the last time we had seen him; fastball sat 84-86 mph, touched 88. Works primarily from the stretch, stays on-line, lands closed, and some effort throughout. Arm has some length on the backside, loose and whippy out front from a ¾ slot. Fastball, heavy action at times, gets sink when down in the zone. Curveball, flashed tight spin, sharp 11/5 action, inconsistent in the zone, 70-73 mph. Changeup, maintains fastball arm speed, arm-side-run, sink at times, 79-82 mph. High follow 2018 right-handed pitcher. Offensively, right-handed hitter, with some looseness and strength through contact. 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Balanced setup, loads on his backside, short stride. Aggressive swinger, uphill path and gap-to-gap approach. Defensively, arm action similar to on the mound, loose and quick, throws carry across the diamond and clocked at 82 mph. 7.70 runner in the 60.

Camden Nisenson, 1B, Crystal Lake Central, 2018
6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitting first baseman with an athletic frame. At the plate hits from a tall, open setup with an armbar start. Short stride to even, short, uphill swing path with good balance. Showed strength thru contact with 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.30. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Threw 84 mph across the infield.

Ryan Patel, INF/RHP, Mundelein, 2018
6-foot-2, 160-pound, long, lean, athletically built, projectable frame, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, delivery works slightly across his body at times, lands square with regular effort throughout. Short, loose arm from an over-the-top slot. Fastball thrown for strikes, feel for the zone, sat 82-84 mph, touched 85. Changeup is an advanced pitch; plus sinking action at times, feel for the bottom of the zone, maintains arm speed, 75-77 mph. Curveball, thrown for strikes, 11/5 action, 68-70 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, balanced, open setup, minimal pre-pitch load and short leg-lift stride. Lift in swing, long path through the zone and gap-to-gap approach. 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, feel for the infield, can make plays on the move, maintains body control, presents glove early, fields athletically out in front of body, flashed soft hands and clean exchange. Arm works loose and can throw from multiple angles; throws clocked at 82 mph across the infield. 7.51 runner in the 60, laser-timed.

Nathan Smith, INF, South Elgin, 2018
6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting infielder, athletic frame with strength. Defensively projects best at third base, funnels baseball to throwing hand, pats gloves to release. High ¾ arm slot, 81 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, solid balance. Path get some length, flashes bat strength, 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.52 runner in the 60.

Easton Stewart, INF, Carmi-White, 2018
5-foot-11, 170-pound, athletically built, infielder. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, slight-hand load, short stride and a fast bat. Aggressive swinger, repeats, makes consistent hard contact, level path, gets extension through contact at times and line-drive, gap-to-gap approach. 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady defender, reliable hands and athletic fielding position. Short arm action, high ¾ slot and throws clocked at 84 mph across the diamond. Also, ran a 7.14 laser-timed 60.

Andrew Wilhite, SS, Stillman Valley, 2018
6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitting shortstop with a lanky, athletic frame. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short, smooth load and short stride. Pull hitter with a short, uphill swing path. Good balance with fluid rhythm. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.08. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Athletic defender with a quick exchange. Threw 83 mph across the infield.

Scott Youngbrandt, SS/RHP, Andrew, 2018
6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitting SS/RHP with an athletic frame. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Throws showed carry across the infield at 85 mph. Tall and fall delivery with maximum effort. Works in line with home plate, square landing with some rhythm. Fastball was straight at 84-87 mph. Curveball has 12-6 shape with depth at 72 mph for strikes. Changeup has some downer action at 78-80 mph. Slider blends with curveball same shape at 72-74 mph.
