Scouting Report
The backstop from Allen continues to elevate his game on both sides of the ball, and he has showed well behind the plate at every event he has attended. Young is one of the premier catch and throw guys in the state and he showed it off by delivering an event best 1.88 pop time at the Top Prospect Games South Texas. He does it with quick feet, a clean exchange, and a strong, accurate arm. Young continues to make strides at the plate. He is starting to get into his power more and it is showing up on the field. He showed the ability to drive the ball with authority to the pull side. Young finished his spring on a heater for Allen, and he has continued his good play throughout this summer.
