Allen really impressed behind the plate at the North Texas Prospect Games. On a day where it was long and hot, Allen was locked in all day behind the dish. He plays with confidence and good energy behind the plate, which only helps his pitchers out. He called a good game, and had a good idea of sequencing his pitch calling. He showed a strong arm behind the plate, and had multiple pop times under 2.0 during the workout portion. Allen showed the ability to impact the ball at the plate as well, with a max exit velocity of 93.2 Overall, it was a really nice day for the rising Jr. from Keller.
