Yankees Baseball Club

Nicholas Germain, OF/3B, Woodstock (GA), 2023
5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, thick frame with a strong lower half, athletic build. Offensively, relaxed demeanor, simple approach, balanced setup, short hand load back, short leg lift stride, balanced throughout. Line drive type hitter, hands work quickly and athletically, with more reps and added strength will have the ability to drive the ball with force.

643 15u Jags

Jaylen Reynolds, MIF, Mays (GA), 2023
5-foot-6, 135-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, athletic build, still has a long way to go before being physically mature. Balanced setup, hands stay back on stride, long leg kick timing trigger. Line drive type hitter, looks to put the ball in play and use his speed to put pressure on the defense. Ran a 4.33 home to first on an infield groundout. Will only continue to add speed as he keeps growing and maturing.

Gideon Moreno, MIF, Walton (GA), 2022
5-foot-11, 152-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, a lean athlete. Offensively, balanced with an athletic bend in his knees, loads weight back and hands take a circular route back, up, down and back again, short stride, good balance. Line drive type hitter, hands guide the barrel in a level path through the zone.

643 DP 15u Bishop

Charlie Bell, RHP, Darlington (GA), 2022
5-foot-11 160-pounds. Solid, athletic with a lot to look forward to with the high pitchability. FB was over the top, and sat 77-78 most of his outing. He had a 3-pitch mix that he could throw for strikes, which is what made him so successful. Had a high strikeout count from keeping hitters guessing and messing with their timing. Slight over rotation on the front-side, but has a quick arm to make up for it. Arm speed was consistent in the FB and off-speed, threw them out of the same slot.
Caleb Carpenter, SS, Lassiter (GA), 2022
5-foot-9 140-pounds. Athletic framed SS looked solid for 643 all weekend. He had a great weekend at the plate. He has a smooth load, with strength throughout his swing, and really quick hands. Really strong finish, looks to do damage on every pitch. Plays bigger than his size, and gets after it on defense. Feet and hands work well together, and has a clean arm action. Well rounded player with all the right actions to develop, and get stronger.

643 DP Pedraza

AJ Demastrie, C, River Ridge (GA), 2023
5-foot-9, 170-pound switch-hitting catcher, stocky build with strength, still has a ways to go before he has reached physical maturity. Offensively, has feel in the box, slightly open setup, hands start low and smoothly load back and up, short stride to square, good balance throughout. Has easy effort in his swing, barrel works mostly level with extension through the zone, strong wrists/forearms allow for him to drive the ball to all fields. Showed a good approach at the plate with situational awareness, rarely plays outside of himself, consistently finds barrels. Presently a mostly line drive hitter, with continued physical development will add more power to his swing.
Cole Eison, OF/MIF, Alexander (GA), 2023
5-foot-7, 145-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and middle infielder, athletically built with a strong lower half, broad shoulders, there is projection in his frame with plenty of opportunity for continued growth. Offensively, balanced setup, barrel starts resting on shoulder, hands load back and barrel cocks to upright on load, low leg kick timing trigger, a bit rotational. Takes aggressive cuts at the plate, hunts middle/in looking to pull the ball with force, swing works smoothly with quick, athletic hands, really lets it go. Is a prototypical leadoff man, puts the ball in play with hard line drive contact.
Carson Kerce, MIF, Pope (GA), 2023
5-foot-9, 140 pounds; build that looks to add more size and strength. Has present all-around ability on the field. Fundamental player who showed the ability to play small with successful sac bunts and a bunt-for-a-hit. Also flashed gap-to-gap approach with multiple hard hit balls, including a line drive triple in the LC gap. Keeps head down on contact and stays through baseball. Active lower-half in swing with level bat path.

Bernard Moon, MIF, Parkview (GA), 2023
5-foot-10, 165 pounds with lean, slim frame. Quick-twitch player with a line drive approach at the plate. Showed very reliable hands in the infield. Quick transfer and good glovework. Made plays ranging up the middle and threw from lower arm slot, accurately. Talented MIF that will be one to watch as high school career develops.

Barrett Eldridge, C/OF, Walton (GA), 2022
6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher and outfielder, long, lanky frame, projectable build, plenty of room to fill out. Offensively, slightly open, hands load back and up with a barrel wrap, short stride. Barrel works level though the zone, looks to create line drive contact. Power will come as he adds strength to frame.

Jeffrey Heuer, 3B/RHP, Homeschool (GA), 2023
6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, did not pitch on the weekend, spending the majority of his time at third base, wide frame, broad shoulders, present strength with room for firming up and more. Offensively, balanced setup with an athletic bend in his knees, hands load back, separate from body, long stride with some tendency to go towards the plate, good balance. Present bat speed, swing a power bat, looks to elevate and drive the ball with force.

Zeke Kimbrall, SS, North Atlanta (GA), 2023
5-foot-9, 145-pound left-handed hitting shortstop, lean, athlete, still physically maturing. Offensively, open setup, high back elbow, start with weight displaced onto back leg, reverse toe-tap stride, short load back. Currently takes a line drive approach, contact hitter, showed good barrel awareness and overall coordination. Hands work athletically through the zone. Has a good feel for hitting, will be an interesting follow when he adds strength to frame.
Kameron Douglas, OF, Woodstock (GA), 2022
6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, projectable athlete, developing strength throughout frame, quick-twitch muscle. Offensively, smooth rhythm with a back and forth wag of the hands, balanced setup, hands load back, barrel stays upright, short stride. Gap-to-gap type hitter, barrel is quick to the zone at a level angle, at-time gets extension through the zone, strong wrists flick the barrel.

GBSA Rays

Manning West, RHP, Apalachee (GA), 2022
A big-bodied 6-foot-6, 210 pounds; strong throughout and has advanced feel for already large frame. One of the top underclassmen of the event, West showed his dominant arsenal with a primary two-pitch-mix. Has a calm delivery up to balance-point, works downhill after separation; lands on-line. Throws from a H3/4 slot and arm speed is aggressive and quick. Fastball showed heavy, late life at 86-89. Advanced command for fastball; spotted up, armside, on running 2-seam. Showed ability to throw on the inner-half of the plate to RHH and run fastball away from lefties. Worked around baserunners and competed well in high-leverage situations. Showed feel for breaking ball with 11/5 shape at 70-72. Sure to be a highly sought-after arm in the 2022 class.
Ninth Inning Royals - Iglesias

Colin Houck, SS, Parkview (GA), 2023
6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, projectable athlete, emerging strength in frame. Offensively, balanced setup, loads weight onto back-side, hnds load back with some barrel wrap, short leg kick timing trigger, good balance through contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter, present bat speed, flashed the ability to drive the ball with force. With continued growth and reps, will consistently drive the ball and develop real pull-side pop.

Connor Pressnall, MIF, Chamblee (GA), 2022
5-foot-7, 127-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, athletic build. Offensively, balanced setup, hands start near earhole, have a short hand load back, good balance. Line drive type hitter, wrists and swing work smoothly through the zone. Will benefit in all areas of his game from added strength.

Avery Bizzell, 3B, Norcross (GA), 2023
6-foot, 145-pound right-handed hitting third baseman, lean frame, projects to add significant muscle to frame. Offensively, simple approach, balanced setup, little-to-no load, short stride, good balance. Was an offensive catalyst for Ninth Inning all weekend. Line drive hitter, hands work to stay on top of the ball, uses the entire field.

Southern Athletics Underclass

Kaden Roach, RHP/CIF, Byrnes (SC), 2023
Physical prospect for his age, strength in upper and lower halves, smooth actions at the plate and on the mound. Offensively is a power bat, drives the ball with force already, much more to come as he continues to mature and physically develop. On the mound, arm works with some length, is continuous on the back-side to an over-the-top slot. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishes crossing over and with recoil. Fastball up to 83 early in his outing, settled in at 79-82, run action, used effectively to get swing and misses up and down in the zone. Mixed in a curveball at 64 and a changeup at 73.
Team Georgia 15U

Bryce England, C/1B, Cherokee Bluff (GA), 2023
5-foot-10, 162-pound right-handed hitting catcher and first baseman, athletically built with developing strength throughout. Offensively, balanced setup, hands load back, short stride, keeps it simple throughout, good balance. Takes a consistent approach at the plate, has an idea when he gets in the box, line drive hitter, with added strength will drive the ball with force. Solid defender behind the plate, knows how to control the game.
Tyrus Cobb, OF, Luella (GA), 2022
5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting, left-handed throwing outfielder, athletic build with high end foot speed. Takes a wide setup at the plate, mostly line drive hitter, plays to his strengths by putting the ball in play and letting his feet do the work. Laid down a bunt on Sunday, reached safely running a 4.08 home to first.
Francesco Capocci, RHP/3B, Alliance Academy (GA), 2023
6-foot-2, 172-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, long, projectable build, broad shoulders on an athletic frame, has not yet started to fill out, once he does will be one of the better frames in the Georgia's class of 2023. Offensively, is starting to find a more consistent approach, making contact more times than not, albeit ground ball contact, with improved timing and better launch angles will be able to drive the ball middle/pull. On the mound is an intriguing arm. Arm works short and clean on the back-side, continuous motion, to a ¾ slot. Creates deception with long limbs flying all over the place, drop and drive, gets into his back-side, strides towards the third base side of the mound, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 80-82 with late life and sink to it.
Santegus Dennis, OF, Walker School (GA), 2023
5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, high waisted, a solid athlete with developing strength. Offensively, open setup, hands drop and barrel wraps on load, short stride, remains balanced through contact. Line drive hitter, primarily uses the middle of the field, developing the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap.
