Top Prospect - Chicago: Statistical Analysis

68 uncommitted athletes ranging from Illinois and Wisconsin competed at Top Prospect - Chicago at Route 66 Stadium in Joliet, IL. The showcase took place on Tuesday, June 12 in front of over 50 college programs and the Illinois Scouting Staff. Participants went through a workout that featured the 60-yard dash, exit velocities, live batting practice and position and pitcher workouts. Below, we list the top performers at each category.

Top Prospect - Chicago featured 11 sub-7.00 times. Nick Iannantone (Joliet Catholic, 2019) led the way, running a 6.51. By a slim margin, Beiker Fuentes (Crystal Lake South, 2019) edged Jake Novak (Loyola, 2019) to round out the leaders.

Six participants topped at 88, but Robert Jackman Jr. (Lincoln-Way West, 2019) and Joe Glassey (Lakes Community, 2019) were able to separate themselves from the pack. Jackman Jr. registered the only 90-mph performance.

Tyler Brandenburg (Lake Country Lutheran (WI), 2019) and Ryne Singsank (Elk Grove, 2019) posted the only two exit velos that reached triple digits. Nick Kosmetatos (St. Francis, 2019) followed with a 96 mph showing, while a duo of 94s closed out the leaders.

Ethan Harrast (Hinsdale Central, 2019) and Nick Kosmetatos (St. Francis, 2019) knocked on the door tallying 88s, while Samuel Correa (St. Patrick, 2019) and Andrew Sweetalla (Appleton East (WI), 2019) are knotted at 86.
