On Oct. 15, PBR Illinois hosted the fall’s Underclass Showcase at The MAX in McCook, Ill., where nearly 60 prospects participated. This was an open event for the 2026 and 2027 classes, and it gave our staff an opportunity to get a look at these prospects before the spring season.

RHP Charlie Caroselli (Providence Catholic) just missed the top-five below but is a name to know in the 2027 class moving forward. Caroselli features a polished four-pitch mix, above-average spin and a clean, fluid operation with more velocity to come down the road.
