Coach Larry Turner has been a mainstay in Oklahoma postseason play and it continues with the Ram's getting another host thanks to winning their District with an impressive 12-2 record.  With Owasso it gets very simple, if you are going to beat them you have to run through a plethora of talented arms and arguably the deepest pitching staff in the region.  It all starts with Brennan Phillips as one of the most consistently dominate arms in OK over the past few seasons followed up with Jackson Farrell who has a knack for putting zero's on the board inning after inning.  After those two it doesn't get much easier with Tyler Davis coming out of the bullpen as of late with his wipeout slider.  Braydon Sanford and Kyndon Lovell round out the very talented staff giving the Rams multiple options to use throughout the postseason.  Offensively a lot falls on the shoulders of Noah Smallwood setting the table at the top of the order for the power bats in Phillips, Jackson Smith, and Solo Skalnik to be the primary run producers.  The lineup gets stretched very deep with a talented group of upper classmen all up and down the lineup.  If Owasso gets their usual dominate starting pitching they're going to be tough to handle and should be considered one of the top contenders to take home hardware at the end of the postseason.

STILLWATER PIONEERS

OVERALL RECORD: 26-10

DISTRICT RECORD: 9-5

POWER 25 WINS: 5

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Jackson Holliday, SS, 2022, Oklahoma State commit

Ethan Holliday, INF, 2025, Oklahoma State commit

Owen Coil, INF, 2024, Uncommitted

Henry Hutchens, OF/RHP, 2022, Seminole State College commit

Gage Gundy, 1B, 2023, Uncommitted

Anthony Smith, OF/RHP, 2023, Uncommitted

Coach Jimmy Harris' squad enters the postseason with one of the scarier lineups with some of the best power bats in the region.  It all starts with Jackson Holliday leading the way offensively and his 15 homers throughout the regular season.  Jackson Holliday has been a consistent performer all season long and it is not shocking to see his name shoot up draft boards over the past couple of months.  It isn't just Jackson that scares opponents.  His little brother Ethan Holliday has looked like a seasoned veteran in his freshman campaign with true power in his left-handed swing along with the talented Owen Coil helping to set the table.  Gage Gundy does a lot of clean-up work in the middle of the order with his raw power producing 13 home runs in his junior campaign and Anthony Smith starting to find his stride with the bat as well.  On the mound they rely a ton on Henry Hutchens as their number one but have used multiple different arms in starting roles throughout the season.  With the Pioneers it all comes down to what level of pitching their going to get in the postseason.  They know that they can put up runs in a hurry even against talented arms, it all comes down to limiting damage and pounding the zone.  If they can do that, they have a chance to make a run all the way to the Title later this month.

SOUTHMOORE SABERCATS

OVERALL RECORD: 15-19

DISTRICT RECORD: 7-7

POWER 25 WINS: 5

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Daniel Satterlee, RHP/1B, 2022, Wichita State commit

Ryan Gutierrez, SS, 2022, Uncommitted

Carson Padgett, INF/RHP, 2022, Uncommitted

Hunter Nunn, C, 2022, UCO commit

Brady Gaughan, INF/RHP, 2022, Uncommitted

You can almost throw the record out for Coach Haines' Sabercats squad entering the postseason as they might be one of the scariest three seeds in the State thanks to the right arm of Daniel Satterlee.  Satterlee has the type of arm that can shut down even some of the most potent offenses when firing on all cylinders which he has done earlier in the season when he had back-to-back shutouts against two top 5 teams in Owasso and Sand Springs.  It isn't just a one man show with the Sabercats as they have a very old roster with players that have a lot of experience under the belt.  Gutierrez has emerged as one of the top uncommitted players in the State with good defense and production from the middle of the order.  Hunter Nunn is one of the top catchers in the State and has done a good job in the middle of the lineup for the Sabercats in 2022.  The key for them to making a run will be if some of the other arms on the staff can hold down some of the better offenses they will face throughout a very tough regional group.

MUSKOGEE ROUGHERS

OVERALL RECORD: 9-16

DISTRICT RECORD: 2-12

POWER 25 WINS: 0

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Dale Grant, SS, 2023, Uncommitted

Anthony Watson, 1B/OF, 2024, Uncommitted

Jayden Bell, OF, 2023, Uncommitted

Coach Singler's Roughers squad enters the postseason without a ton of district success but does come in with a 7-4 record in non-district games with a couple of quality wins against some of the better smaller schools in the State making a huge improvement off of last year's 2021 squad.  Normally in high school baseball with teams with losing records you see a ton of lopsided games but you won't find too many looking at the Roughers schedule.  They have been competitive in multiple contests against some of the best the State has to offer putting big scares in some of the top programs.  They have one of the youngest rosters in 6A with only one senior on the roster and numerous younger players getting valuable Varsity experience making the future look bright for the Roughers headed into the coming years.
