SAN ANTONIO, TX - The first meeting of the year between the two Texas Power 25 teams generated a lot of buzz in the stadium. Each team would send their ace to the mound with Wichita State commit 2018 LHP Cal Carver going for Reagan, and Texas commit 2018 RHP Jack Neely for Churchill. Reagan's offense has been extremely potent of late – recently winning the San Antonio Baseball Classic last week.

Cal Carver needed only 95 pitches to earn the complete game shutout, stifling the Churchill offense. He surrendered only one hit and one walk, while striking out nine.

Churchill starter Jack Neely kept the Rattlers off the board for four innings, until 2018 Seth Morrow (Wichita State commit) singled home the first run of the game. The Rattlers scored two more runs in the inning on an infield error. Then, in the sixth, with two on and two out, Reagan’s Hilton Brown (2018 Northwestern State commit) put the game out of reach with a three run homerun. Final Score Reagan 6, Churchill 0.
