OUTLOOK

"2023 was the first year of an enormous transition in the Palmer Trinity baseball program. The school decided to bring in a new face in Howard Cuervo to change the culture of a team who was trending down. In their first season with him at the helm, they went 17-9, won their first district playoff game in 5 years and posted the best record since 2017. Upcoming in 2024, most of the team is returning as only 2 seniors graduated. Palmer’s best overall player on the mound and at the plate Jake Pearcy is returning for his senior year. Palmer also was able to snag away a strong RHP from Columbus - 2025 Raul Rincon who will serve as another starter in their rotation. Another interesting story is Michael Miraglia. Michael played 2B all of last season due to a senior playing shortstop. This will be his first full season at the position. Michael made enormous strides over the summer and impressed many in countless showcases. The team has high hopes this season with weaker Gulliver & Florida Christian teams. A push to the district championship game and regionals is the main goal.”
