Florida 2025 Rankings: Preseason Update

As the Preseason comes to a close and we get started with the high school season, a rankings updated was needed. For the 2025 class, we shuffled the rankings with a new number one, Dean Moss, as well as several new additions to the top ten. Click below to view the full update.

Today we will look at a few risers to the Florida 2025 rankings.

Risers

Cooper Moss RHP / 1B / Arnold, FL / 2025

6-foot-3, 217 pound right hander has one of the better power fastballs in the class. Up to 95 in the summer, came out on a cold day this January touching 93. 17.8 avg. inches of Induced Vertical Break on his fastball. Ability to control the slider and changeup for strikes.

  

Talan Holiday RHP / RHP / American Heritage Plantation, FL / 2025

Holiday has made another jump heading into this spring. 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. Fastball touching 91 with an elite slider above 2800 RPM. It’s a quick arm with the ability to miss barrels with three pitches.

  

Max Murray 1B / RHP / HAGERTY HIGH SCHOOL, FL / 2025

Two-way player that has added strength to his frame. Now standing 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. Showcases bat speed and power from the left side. Fastball now up to 90 and generates swings and misses up in the zone.

 

Julius Rodriguez OF / RHP / Miami Southridge, FL / 2025

Rodriguez is a toolsy outfield who continues to impress. Currently uncommitted, but a player to follow. 6.57 runner. Moves well in the outfield and can defend. At the plate, it’s a gap to gap hitter with bat speed. Stays on time and finds the barrel often.
