HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Carter Rustad, RHP, Staley HS (San Diego)

OTHERS TO WATCH: OF Marcus Smith (Pembroke Hill HS, MO) turned in an impressive spring, showing a power-speed combo from the left side. He’s a plus runner and excellent athlete. OF/RHP Mason Auer (Kickapoo HS, MO) is one of the top athletes in the state with quick-twitch actions. He still lacks command on the mound, but his arm is electric. He can also run a 6.65-second 60-yard dash. C Kurtis Byrne (Christian Brothers College HS, MO) can handle the bat, which would profile if he moves from behind the plate to a corner spot. OF/LHP Chase Krogman (Liberty-Wentzville HS, MO) is an above-average runner and has a loose left-handed swing with some pop. C Jimmy Obertop (Westminster Christian Academy, MO) has a strong arm behind the plate and power in his right-handed bat. RHP Braxton Bragg (Liberty HS, MO) has been 89-91 mph on the bump and shows advanced control. RHP Mark Adamiak (Shawnee Mission Northwest HS, KS) competes well with an 86-90 fastball. While he hasn’t been at his best this spring, OF Quinton Hall (Mill Valley HS, KS) is a solid runner with a powerful right-handed swing.
