HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
NONE

OTHERS TO WATCH: OF/LHP Sayer Diederich (Elkhorn South HS, NE) had a strong showing at the Super 60 in February and had multiple scouts out to see him throughout the 2019 season, both on the mound and in the outfield. His velocity never peaked on the mound during the spring and he mostly sat in the 84-88 mph range throughout his starts. Diederich’s overall athleticism and line-drive approach at the plate played well throughout the season. RHP Sam Wibbels (Hastings HS, NE), a Kentucky recruit, caught some buzz on the mound with his high effort delivery that produces an 88-92 mph fastball that touched 94 mph on occasion. Wibbels overall pitch ability was much improved in 2019 leading to 120 strikeouts in 50.1 innings pitched.
