Game Notes: Arbor View at Desert Oasis

Brett Harrison
West Coast Supervisor

+ Sebastian Frye, 2025 RHP - The junior righthander has been an Under the Radar type prospect the past few years, but he shouldn't be much longer. Earning the win in yesterday's matchup against a talented Arbor View group, going 5.0 inning while allowing 3 Earned Runs, Striking Out 3 and earning the win for the Diamondbacks. Working almost exclusively with his fastball/slider mix, he ran it up to 88 mph with while sitting 85-87 mph with a short, quick arm cycle to go with a slider that flashes some later sweeping action. Keep an eye on Frye as a player who will be a major piece of the D-Back rotation heading into the home stretch of the 2024 High School season.

+ Landon Blais, 2025 OF/LHP - Continuing to ascend up the 2025 Class as one of the top bats still on the board and proved exactly why in yesteday's contest with a key double to right-centerfield that kickstarted the Aggie offense, eventually scoring on a Colton Christman single. With a critical senior summer quickly approaching, expect this two-way to be one of the first commits out of Nevada.

+ Lincoln Guillermo, 2026 IF - Guillermo has adds his name to the standout infielders in Nevada's 2026 Class, adding a pair of hits in yesterday's matchup including a double. The actions are their throughout his game with fluidity and range on the defensive side to with a confident approach on the offensive side where he has shown his ability to use all fields, with flashes of power potential. Guillermo will be a player to watch this Summer and in the coming years as his overall game continues to take shape.

+ Austin Long, 2025 IF - The Arbor View leadoff hitter did all he could to help lead the Aggies to a win yesterday, going a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate with a pair of walks, then stood tall on the mound where he came in early relief to go 4.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs to keep them in the game down to the last out. Long continues to prove he is a Player to Know in Nevada's 2025 Class with the Summer season quickly approaching.
