During the Fall and Winter, we saw many names came off the board to some of the top programs around the nation, saw numerous prospects update measurables at showcases, and saw many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene. With that information, we are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen, starting with the Class of 2024.

As the spring season is about to get underway, we will take a look at "The Risers”, “The Sleepers", "Winter Showcase Standouts", a look some of the top uncommitted prospects by position, and a close look at the Top 10.

The Risers

Sawyer Solitaria 1B / RHP / Saint Ignatius, OH / 2024

Report: The only movement within the top ten, was the addition of the Saint Ignatius first basemen Sawyer Solitaria. The 6-3, 230-pounder mashed at the ProCase, with a max of 109.3 exit velo with wood. The future Kent State Golden Flash looks to have a huge spring for one of the most talented teams in the state.

Ty O'Brien C / 3B / Otsego, OH / 2024

Report: The 6-0, 210-pound catching prospect from Otsego is well put together and showed out at the Procase this winter, as one of, if not the top catching prospect at the event. Ty should mash all spring before becoming a future Toledo Rocket.

Will McCullough OF / SS / Moeller, OH / 2024

Report: One of the biggest risers in the class is the 6-0, 180-pound outfielder from Archbishop Moeller. The Davidson commit showed out all summer and looks to put it all together this spring for national power Big Moe.

Chase Chopin OF / Jonathan Alder, OH / 2024

Report: Athleticism and speed on max for the future BGSU Falcon. But before his days as a Falcon, look for Chopin to help pace one of the top teams in Division II, Jonathan Alder, this spring to some big things.

Sleepers

Anthony Robinson RHP / Kings, OH / 2024

Report: One of the top uncommitted prospects in the state, look for the 6-0, 170-pound righty from Kings to put together a strong senior campaign, while looking to land on a college roster. The fastball is in the upper-80s in 2023, look for it to touch 90+ this spring.

Finn Schmitt RHP / OF / Wadsworth, OH / 2024

Report: At 6-6, 200-pounds, the ceiling for Finn is one of the highest in the class. Athletic actions on the bump with a good spin rate. Look for Finn to put together a big season this year for Wadsworth. Malone is getting a good one here.

Abe DeLano RHP / 1B / Ayersville, OH / 2024

Report: Three-sport athlete at the Division IV level, look for Abe to blossom at Northern Kentucky, once he focuses on honing his craft on the bump. All-State wrestler and wide receiver, showcases the type of athlete that Abe is. This two-way at Ayersville has a chance to win player of the year in D-IV before heading off to NKU.

Drew Stevens 2B / OF / Mason, OH / 2024

Report: The toolsy 6-0, 170-pound INF/OF looks to put together a nice senior campaign at Mason, before heading off to play for one of the D2 powers in the state, Ashland.

Newcomers

Silas Borders LHP / OF / Carlisle, OH / 2024

Report: The breakout performer of the winter in the 2024 class was a southpaw from Carlisle. The left-handed pitcher showed off at the Canes Baseball Club Scout Day. Sitting in the upper-80s, topping at 88.4, Silas used the performance to help get him an offer from Indiana Wesleyan.

Kevin Sanchez RHP / C / Riverside, OH / 2024

Report: The B2 Bulls Scout Day opened eyes to many unranked and uncommitted prospects. The Org had one of the top, if not the top BP rounds in the cage, with the catcher from Riverside being one of their top bats. Also hopped on the bump, sitting in the low-80s. A name to look at this spring.

Carter Sansone LHP / 1B / Colerain, OH / 2024

Report: The L/L two-way from Cincinnati Colerain high school showed well at the Cincinnati Aces Scout Day. Pitchability stood out on the bump, to go along with athletic actions at first base and in the cage.
