The Arkansas high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 26, opening day for regular season action under AAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

“We return two pitchers (Jackson Kircher and Tate Collins) who had significant innings in 2023 including during our state championship run. We will be strong offensively, led by two of the top 2024 hitters in the state in Cade Bowman and Jackson Kircher. We feel like we have a good group of guys who were part of the successful season in 2023 and are excited for another one. We also feel like we have a really good young group ready to play a role this year, especially with the loss of some big 2023 starters. We graduated six seniors including 100 innings on the mound and will be looking to young guys to step up and fill those roles.” – Brandon Eller, head coach
