The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Daily Roundup:

Mountain Vista 13 Grand Junction Central 0
Mountain Vista kept rolling along beating GJ Central Saturday.  Mountain Vista’s Sam Ireland (2019) threw a no-no on Saturday, he only walked 2 batters and struck out 6, and he also led the team by going 2 for 3 with 4 RBI’s.  A great day for Sam Ireland. 

Legend 8 Grandview 2
Legend put up 5 runs in the first two innings, and then another 3 in the bottom of the 4th to beat the Wolves on Saturday.  Legend’s Troy Lincavage (2018) was the big gun at the plate going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and a home run.  Jake Sansing (2018) was on the bump throwing 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits to go along with 6 K’s.  

Rock Canyon 7 Fruita Monument 6
Fruita was leading the game 5 to 3 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning and Rock Canyon put up a 3 spot to take the lead 6 to 5, then added another run in the bottom of the 5th.  Fruita tried to come back in the top of the 7th but could only score 1 run.  Fruita’s Tyler Boggs (2018) had a great day at the plate going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, driving in 2 RBI’s and hit a home run. 

Overland 8 Grand Junction Central 5
With the game tied after 3 innings at 4 apiece, Overland came out swinging in the top of the 6th scoring 4 runs and went on to beat Grand Junction Central on Saturday.  Grand Junction Central’s Ryan Kirby (2019) had a good day at the plate going 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s. 

Windsor 7 Skyline 1
Windsor put up 4 runs in the top of the first inning and then added 1 run in the 5th, 6th, and 7th inning to beat Skyline on Saturday.  For Windsor B. Brachtenback (2018) had a good day at the plate going 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s and on the bump, Logan Thorton (2019) and Owen Lockner (2019) combined to only allow 3 hits to go along with 11 strike outs.  

Loveland 7 Fountain-Fort Carson 3
On Saturday the visiting Loveland Indians took the lead in the 2nd inning scoring 1 run and never looked back and beat Fountain-Fort Carson down in Colorado Springs.  Loveland’s Drew Massy (2019) had a big day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.  Jackson Bakovich went 6 innings for Loveland in the win striking out 6. For Fountain-Fort Carson Jarren Sly (2018) went 2 for 4 with an RBI.
