The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Weekend Roundup:

Rocky Mountain 10 Loveland 3
Ben Knauer (2019) led the way for the Lobos going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 2 runs on Saturday in this league game with Loveland.  Loveland’s Tyler Hamill (2019) had a good day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. 

Legacy 10 Mountain Range 3
Legacy scored in every inning on Saturday to win their league game.  Legacy’s Dylan Grierson (2019) had a huge day at the plate going 4 for 4, scoring 2 runs, to go along with 3 RBI’s.   

Mullen 5 Smoky Hill 4
Mullen held on to win this important league game for both teams.  Leading 5 to 0 going into the 6th, Smoky Hill scored 2 in the 6th and then another 2 in the 7th, but it wasn’t enough.  Mullen’s J. Alexander was 2 for 3, scored 2 times, and also drove in 2 runs in the win. 

Chatfield 6 Columbine 5
Great league game on Saturday that had to go to extra innings.  In the bottom of the 8th Chatfield was able to push a run across to win the game.  Kasey Koppelmaa (2018) for Chatfield went 2 for 3, driving in 2 runs, and scored two times as well.  

Grandview 8 Eaglecrest 4
The Wolves won this important league game on Saturday.  Grandview’s Luke LaFlam (2018) shutdown the Raptors for 4 1/3 innings, and had a no-hitter going into the 4th inning, he gave up just 3 hits, 4 runs, to go along with 6 K’s.  Luke also had a day at the plate going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and scoring 2 runs.

Cherry Creek 6 Arapahoe 2
Cherry Creek’s Nathan Mitchell (2019) did most of the damage for the Bruins on Saturday.  He went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, and hit a bomb to help Cherry Creek win their league game.

Canon City 3 Cheyenne Mountain 2
Canon City took an early lead in the game scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st, but then they had to score the winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning.  Both teams pitchers did an outstanding job especially Canon City’s Zac Hanenberg (2018) who went 7 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 runs, and struck out 3 batters.

Pomona 10 Arvada West 3
Pomona’s Colton Muller (2019) led the way for the Panthers going 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in another 2 runs, has Pomona won this important league game on Saturday.
