The 2020 FL Preseason All-State Showcase was filled with some of the top talent in the state of Florida. The event featured prospects from the 2020-2024 classes participating in a pro-style workout followed by two games in front of the PBR Florida Scouting Staff. Today, we will take a look at analysis of Team Grey with scouting reports and video.

Team Grey

James Aselta SS / RHP / IMG Academy, FL / 2022

Aselta was one of the biggest standouts at Preseason All-State this year. Aselta has an athletic and projectable 6-foot-1, 175 pound frame. He has a short stride to the ball and above average bat speed. Gap-to-gap hitter with pull-side power. Defensively, the actions at short are clean and athletic. Above average arm with carry that registered 85 mph to first.
