The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

Coach Lasley and the back to back State Champions will look to reload in 2024 with strong upperclassmen and a lot of young talent to develop in the Freshman and Sophomore classes. Senior KJ Moon (Mercer) will look to lead the Titans both on the mound and at the plate. Two Southern Wesleyan commits Ethan Jarvis, and Ryan Postnieks will be key players in the lineup in 2024. Senior Branson Dykes Will lead the defense at SS and will add quality innings out of the bullpen. Senior Braedon Hassan will look to add some power to the lineup in the DH role. The Junior class will be key in the success of the Titans. 2023 Team Georgia Future Games alum Noah Allen (Georgia) will be a powerful arm in the starting rotation, alongside Junior Sam Clower adding key innings out of the bullpen. Sophomores Wyatt Bull and Luke Burnett will hold down the back end of the Starting rotation. The bright futures of Freshman Patrick Hassan, Carter Moon, and Ryan Trout will look to develop and play any role in the success of the Titans in 2024. The North Oconee Titans will open up their 2024 season against the 3A State Champ Harlem High School on 2/17.
