HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
NONE

OTHERS TO WATCH: C Wes Clarke (Liberty Christian Academy, VA), a South Carolina recruit is a strong offensive catching prospect. He has a rare combination of right-handed power, a strong arm, and advanced receiving skills. C Adam Hackenberg (Miller School, VA), another high caliber offensive catching prospect, also combines power with receiving skills and a strong arm. He is the most polished player in Virginia’s 2018 class and committed to Clemson. SS Cade Hungate (Abingdon HS, VA), a Florida State recruit, has put up one of the most impressive springs in Virginia. He is a line-drive hitter with athleticism and arm strength, which has gotten him some attention on the mound where he has reached the low 90s. His teammate, C Thomas Francisco (Abingdon HS, VA) is the top hitter in the state and has left-handed power. RHP Cristian Sanchez (Centreville HS, VA) was up to 93 mph in the fall, but has had a sub-par spring. He is committed to Virginia. RHP Jacob Zebron (Colonel Richardson HS, MD) has been a fast riser this spring, possessing a raw skill set and long, projectable frame. He is relatively effortless in delivery a 90-93 fastball. The breaking ball is projectable with depth. He is committed to North Carolina State. RHP David Erickson (Cape Henlopen HS, DE) has been up to 94 this spring, sitting 91-92 and mixing in a 77 breaking ball. He is committed to Liberty.
